Advanced architecture for cold winters: a one-story house with fashionable finishing – etk-fashion.com

Today we will show you a modern house in whichprogressive design and finishing technologies are used. It turns out that saving on heating and air conditioning is easy and simple. And you will also have huge windows

Making a home cozy is the primary goal of any homeowner, and what a joy that “warm” finishing materials are now back in fashion.

This house is located in Argentina and it seemsThis fact alone should make it the most wonderful place to live: warm climate, sun, sea and, as numerous TV series convince us, the best place for true love.

But it was not to be.Mendoza, where this house has been standing for several years, does not spoil its residents with eternal summer and arranges a real winter every year. However, the harsh conditions did not become an obstacle for the architects in installing panoramic glazing. And so that the landscapes do not make the owners shudder from the illusory cold, the authors decorated the interior with a huge number of gray boards.

However, we must give credit to the architects - theyfound a way to adapt to the local climate: if you pay attention, there are panoramic windows only on one side of the house. On the other three sides there are tiny windows. The width of the house is small, which allowed us to arrange almost all the rooms so that each of the rooms got that same panoramic window. And the toilets and utility rooms already have a small window.

This is not a new but progressive method inThe architecture allows you to save energy both for heating the house and for cooling it: the windows on the leeward side are tiny, meaning there is no heat loss, while the panoramic windows are chosen on the side that is least heated by the sun, meaning there is no need to spend money on air conditioning in the summer months. Bright spots of eclectic furniture pieces complicate and at the same time diversify the space, where the main role is given to large architectural forms and natural materials in cool shades.
