Creative people get out of this situation too. Paying off a mortgage from the money received for a private house became a way out of a difficult situation for one girl. We will be glad to introduce you to her story.
Michelle de la Vega found a way out of the situation– she simply moved into her own garage, which occupies only 23 square meters, but initially, of course, she had to work on its appearance. She has no shortage of optimism. A fan of small spaces, she tries to transform her home into a multifunctional, comfortable place where you can live peacefully.

All measures against bad weather conditions were takentaken into account, while the dimensions of the area remained approximately the same. Only an extension with a bathroom was added. Since finances were tight, the girl had to be an architect, designer and performer at the same time. She had to do all the work related to planning the home, making the main furniture items herself. Everything ended successfully, since Michelle is quite good at handling a welding machine.
Light enters the room through a single window.There is also an unusually huge door-window. They are always wide open. During the renovation, the height of the room slightly changed, which made it possible to place a sleeping place in the resulting superstructure. To get there, the artist uses a ladder. Before that, she traveled this way on a liner across the Pacific Ocean.
The zoning of the room is relative, soas there are no partitions or walls. On one side there is a place for a kitchen, a huge stove stands on the other side. At the other end there is a bed. Here Michelle sleeps and receives guests. This couch, by the way, was also designed by the girl herself. And the role of the bedspread is played by an old army blanket. Since the girl is a fan of rare items, she always tries to extend their service life, coming up with new uses.
From the remaining brick resources we managed to assemble a fireplace - we used everything that was superfluous after making the chimney.
