Apartment in French style from Margaux Beja

French Style Apartment by Margaux BejaThere’s a reason so many of us look to French style for inspiration, from clothes to interiors to food. It’s just that the French way of life seems to take these things a little more seriously, the good things in life, the moments of relaxation, the extra glass of wine, or the exchange of smiles over an espresso. The two apartments presented in this review are fromdesigner Margaux Beja is a beautiful tribute to French priorities in a modern version. Both projects harmoniously combine the old charm of those Parisian quarters where the apartments are located with absolutely modern elements of luxury, which allowed to create comfortable interiors outside of time, convincingly expressing the purely French ability to appreciate every moment of life. The first apartment is located in the very center of Marais, its area is 50 square meters. Wooden beams stand out sharply against the white walls, dictating an eclectic interior style. Natural materials are used in thisthroughout the room and continue the stunning beam theme. A solid walnut wall conceals utility areas, while a glass partition separates the bedroom, allowing plenty of natural light into this top-floor home. Despite the considerable age of the house itself,Each of its later elements is dominated by the clean lines that are in vogue today. From the immaculately smooth kitchen worktop to the nook with its wooden table and window to the street, the house feels completely updated without losing its classic charm. The second apartment has a modern feelremains, but there's less of the mood that comes from the building's period features. Nicknamed "The Cube," the home is filled with nooks and crannies for storage, turning a tiny part of the metropolis into a clutter-free, livable space. Built-in shelves, storage under the window seat andsmall kitchen area - everything here serves its purpose. Simple furniture - from white Eames-style dining chairs to stackable coffee tables - echoes mid-century fashion, as does the unusual lampshade in the living room.
