Apartment in Barcelona: blue interior with furniture from IKEA

How to comfortably accommodate 8 people in 80 metersman, why cool shades are needed in the bedroom and how much can be squeezed into a 6-meter room - read in our new material This apartment became the interior of the week largely due to the versatility of the ideas implemented in it. We all face the problem of placing sleeping places - in this interior they are solved with special elegance. Natalia Guseva, architect Member of the International Union of Designers. In the late 90s, she created her own architectural and design bureau "KvARTa-eko". Actively collaborates with Italian designers and constructors. When necessary, she creates furniture and accessories for interiors herself. This apartment is located in an elite area of new condominiums on the outskirts of Barcelona. The owner of the apartment is Russian, who comes here to relax with her family. She had known the architect Natalia Guseva for a long time and had already done several interiors with her, so she decided not to take risks in Spain and invite her. Considering that the family is of different ages,The architect immediately divided the apartment into living and public areas so that the area with bedrooms was separated from the rest of the area by a door. Even if it is noisy in the living room, you can't hear it in the bedrooms: "their" corridor and door isolate sounds quite well. The customer's family has three school-age children.age, and their eldest daughter and child often come to visit them. That is, the apartment required a huge number of sleeping places. As a result, now at least eight people can comfortably spend the night on 80 meters. A tiny room-office even for ourssmall apartments - nonsense, because it is no more than 5-6 meters, what can be placed there? Natalia Guseva managed to squeeze into this space a narrow bed with a capacious storage system, a narrow secretary and a small chair. The walls were painted sky-blue. From experience, we can say that this shade expands the space many times better than white. Now in the room, which is small even for a storage room, you can not only work, but also relax. The "adult" bedroom is painted in a deepthe shade of the evening sky, which is in autumn, when the lanterns are already lit, and it has the warmth of violet. The wall is decorated with a typical Spanish accessory - fans painted in different shades of blue, from turquoise to violet. The bedroom also has a bedside table, a table and a chest of drawers - all in the already mentioned shades of blue. The author of the project loves this color - it promotes good sleep. Since customers come here only inwarm season, it was important to make the bedroom shade "cool", so that even during the day there would be an opportunity to rest from the heat. The children's room is extremely functional - there is only a two-level bed, a chest of drawers and a table. The author tried to diversify the interior with a gamecolors - here you can find a variety of shades, from cream to ochre. The whole point is that the hostess is a very cheerful person, and the world, and with it life itself, is perceived through color. The rework lasted about a month, then a couple moreweeks were spent on purchasing furniture and accessories. Most of them were bought at IKEA, the rest were rare antique finds and a few items with national color. The result of the work done was an apartment, fully prepared to receive a large family, in which everyone will find their own corner - all areas except the living room are ideally isolated. Even the tiny kitchen, which seems to be part of the common area of the living room-dining room-kitchen-hallway, but is separated from the living room by a partition, and from the hallway there is a door leading here: close it - and that's it. photos provided by Natalia Guseva
