Types of sofas.
- Have a good idea of the existing styles of upholstered furniture;
- clearly represent the purposes for which the sofa is bought;
- whether the sofa fits the wallpaper, furniture and the existing interior;
- know how often it will be used - every day or just sometimes;
- exactly guess how the sofa will be used, on it will sit or sit and lie.

Constructions of sofas
As a rule, furniture stores offer customers the following types of sofas:
- mechanized;
- non-mechanized.

The operating principle of the "Book" mechanism.Mechanized models can be represented by sofa-books, couches, click-clacks, models with French and American folding beds, roll-out options, dolphin sofas, accordion sofas and recliners. All the listed models have:
- high reliability;
- large bed;
- the possibility of installing boxes for laundry;
- easy simple transformation;
- several versions of the situation (sitting, lying, reclining);
- compact dimensions in the folded state.
The disadvantages of such models include:
- less durable construction than non-mechanized analogues;
- impossibility to reach the ideal flat surface of the berth;
- the need to remove or push out the small elements that make up the sofa;
- requiring additional space for the transformation of the sofa.

Advantages and disadvantages of corner sofas

How to choose a sofa for an interior?
When choosing the color of a sofa to match the interior, the buyermust, first of all, take into account the color scheme of the walls in the room. This is due to the fact that the color scheme of the selected sofa (if the buyer chooses a single-color or an option with small details) is combined differently with the colors present in the interior. The tone of the sofa can directly dictate the color of the walls and wallpaper.
