Modern interior of a compact apartment withbright accents The interior of a compact apartment located in the Westbourne Gardens complex in the Bayswater area of Westminster has recently been updated in accordance with the wishes of the owner, a paediatric cardiac surgeon who lives alternately in three cities - London, Leeds and Cairo. The space, measuring just 45 m2, was originally divided into three narrow strips - rooms. Specialists from the British firm Nimtim Architects took on the task of reorganizing and optimizing the space in order to adapt it to the client's requirements and lifestyle. Architects Tim O'Callaghan and Nimi Attanayake achieved this goal by revising the layout of the apartment. This is how it now features a compact kitchen with a set of soft blue cabinets, which adjoins a mini-living room, a bathroom faced with stone and marble, and a bedroom with a built-in wardrobe finished with cherry veneer. Other notable features include herringbone oak flooring, gold fittings, a hidden door between the bathroom and kitchen and a skylight in the wall above the lovely blue cabinetry. The total cost of the renovation is £100,000.
