The Mighty Mouse Apartments project was developedby Australian architect Nicholas Gurney. His renovation of the apartment, located in Woolloomooloo, an inner suburb of Sydney, was completed in 2013.The area of the apartment is only 27 sq.meters. According to the architect, such projects can be considered as training grounds for developing skills in working with limited spaces and budgets. Because a true professional must demonstrate quality results under any initial conditions. In addition, affordable housing is in great demand in the real estate markets of rapidly growing cities, and primarily among young people and small families. The interior palette includes yellow, black andred shades, borrowed from the abstract character Mighty Mouse, created by the imagination of Nicholas Gurney. Combinations of contrasting elements help to define the visual boundaries of zones without using physical structures. Nicholas Gurney's project serves as evidencethat with proper space planning, even the most modest interior becomes a testing ground for unlimited possibilities. In these conditions, if not everything, then a lot depends on the way the design is visualized.
