Small apartments

Design project of a small apartment from Ateliers L. McComber

A relatively small dwelling with a total area of65 square meters, but with high ceilings, can be transformed into a versatile living space if you use every corner of it correctly. An example of this is in the vicinity of Canal Lachine. Visitors to the Forum-Grad website can see how the loft-style apartment, which means "old attic", was transformed from ideas . This interior is characterized by brickwork on the walls, exposed beams and other structures, a lot of wood: on the floor and ceiling. With the birth of the child, the need arosereconstruction of premises taking into account the new lifestyle of a young family, so that it is comfortable and functional. As a result of the reconstruction, a bold architectural solution was implemented - raising the sleeping area for parents to the mezzanine. The wavy shape of the canopy creates visual interest, it does not put pressure on the children's area located below. The "attic" looks modern and comfortable.
