How many square meters do you need to be comfortable?to arrange your life for one person? As today and the ideas of modern designers suggest, very little. The main thing is to be rational, practical and have a good imagination. Have you noticed that more and more people prefer housing with a small area, but located near the center, to apartments of impressive sizes on the outskirts. Developers, keeping up with modern trends, include small studio apartments in the projects of their houses (including elite ones). Very often we are talking about areas of about 20 square meters. It would seem that this is so that a person does not feel like he is in a cage in his apartment. But this is not so, given that small footage has a number of its advantages.Firstly, a small apartment is much more expensiveeasier to care for, and it takes much less time. Secondly, in a cozy studio, where everything is at hand and in sight, you will never feel lonely and uneasy, as it happens in large apartments. Thirdly, a small area will wean you off buying unnecessary things and teach you to be more inventive in arranging your comfort.Designer Nikolay Vashantsev offered hisa layout option for a small apartment, and his idea was unanimously recognized by the professional community as very successful. A room of 16 square meters in a five-story building in St. Petersburg. One window, no walls or partitions. These were the initial data that the designer had. What solution did he find?Nikolay Vashantsev Designer, graduated from KharkivState Academy of Design and Arts. "I am an artist, because for me every project is the creation of a new image in space." Playing with light In order to, it was necessary to let as much natural light into the apartment as possible. The window lets it in enough, but to enhance the effect, the walls were covered with glossy white paint, which reflects it. In order not to clutter the space, light tulle and Roman blinds were hung - in case the sun is too bright. For the dark time of day and cloudy weather, an entire system of artificial lighting was created, which can create both bright illumination and an intimate atmosphere. It consists of a floor lamp near the front door, two minimalist lamps on the sides of the sofa and a structure on the ceiling from a group of hanging lamps, which is adjustable in height. Functional furniture will save space,it is necessary to use every free centimeter. And it is necessary not to forget that as few things as possible should be visible - they steal the illusion of space. Therefore, an individual project of functional furniture is needed for them. In this case, hanging mezzanines, a pull-out wardrobe and closed shelves are used. All free areas are used: the window sill, the surfaces of large equipment, the table and hanging shelves. In the corridor area near the entrance door for outerwear there is a hanger, which takes up little space and is one of the decorative elements. Minimum decor In a small studio it is impossibleoverdo it with decoration. A small space should not be overloaded, otherwise it will lose its visual volume. But even without bright accents, the apartment will look faceless and uninteresting. The purple fabric on which the deer head made of plywood hangs makes this space original. Hanging bookshelves above the sofa and photo frames under the plasma panel will create an atmosphere of coziness, home warmth and creative individuality of the apartment owner. And a skillful combination of furniture and equipment from the 60s, related to the period of construction of the house, and modern design items allow you to create an atmosphere of uniqueness of this living space. In a small studio apartment, made according to an original design that takes into account the peculiarities of your character and lifestyle, everyone who lives alone will feel comfortable.
