In Spain, the second most populous citypopulation is Barcelona, also one of the most important points of the European tourist route. In 2010, Barcelona became the central city of the Mediterranean Union, which currently includes 43 states. In this city there is an apartment, which was worked on by designers and decorators, a project called Casa Sal was recreated by specialists of the Nook Architects design studio. When creating and working on this interior design of the apartment, a difficulty arose, it consisted in the complex geometry of the space. The peculiarity of the room is that it consists of a long corridor, the width of which is 3 meters, and the length is 19 meters. When creating the design, the layout was based, if possible, on the wishes and lifestyle of the owners of the house.
The most important space for the ownerwas the kitchen, it also formed the basis of the design and architectural layout, being the central point of reference for all the rooms. Thus, it became the vital and functional center of the new home, this was emphasized by the location of the dining table. The kitchen is made in white, which helps to visually perceive it as the background of the rest of the space.
Due to the particular layout of this living roomadjoins the dining room and all the rooms are very compact. The border of the living room area and other rooms, with this technique the designers were able to solve the problem of small dimensions quite well, is highlighted by the junction of the floor covering. An exit to a small terrace is equipped from it, since the terrace is located above the floor level of the living room, then the designers provided a retractable step to the passage to it. Which, if unnecessary, can be inserted in one movement and thus it will turn the lower facade into a single whole. The wide window sill can be used as a comfortable and bright place for reading, the authors made the terrace part of the living room. 
On the opposite side there is a bedroomwith a small study and bookcases. The flooring made of pure and natural wood gives the room warmth, coziness and comfort. A small balcony provides a wonderful opportunity for a small greenhouse, through the glass balcony doors bright and clean daylight bursts into the bedroom. White walls, very competently chosen by the designers, visually increase the space. The bedside table, made in the form of a simple wooden stool, adds charm and unpredictability to the interior.
In this same part of the apartment there is a guest room.room and bathroom. The bathroom is again done in a light color to visually increase the space. Everything is located quite compactly and harmoniously, the mirror located horizontally greatly extends the bathroom. The authors tried, and they succeeded, to extend the volume also, due to the floor tiles, which were used at the request of the tenant.
