Transformer Apartment Design in Sydney: 'Grassy' Carpet and Apple Green Furniture in the Living Room
Idea
The concept behind the designThe transformable apartment, located in Sydney, allows for the possibility of changing the structure and purpose of the living space during the day. The impetus for its development was the need to solve the problem of acute space shortage and, as a result, to increase the functionality and comfort of the compact interior.
Implementation
The uniqueness of this project lies in the fact thatthe space of the apartment, the area of which is only 40 square meters, can take on several configurations. The tool for implementing this function is an ingeniously designed module - a key design element. Depending on the current needs of the apartment's inhabitants, it - with a few easy movements on the part of the person - becomes a support for a compact kitchen table, a spacious dining table or a folding console for working on a laptop.
High tech solution
Another equally important element of the interior islifting bed. Note: we are not talking about a folding structure, but a lifting one. A comfortable and quite spacious bed is raised with the help of particularly strong belts to the ceiling and completely disappears into a niche. The automatic mechanism is controlled remotely. Isn't this a brilliant (albeit expensive) invention? The authors of the project are proud of the fact that they haveseveral structurally complex elements did not prevent the interior from remaining attractive, stylish and perfectly balanced. The compact space was taken over by eco-design, the basis of which is an abundance of wooden surfaces, the dominance of white and thoughtful inclusions of juicy accents in the shade of green apple. What do you think - can this project be considered an exhaustive solution to the problem of space shortage? Or does it still have disadvantages? Share your opinion in the comments.
