Maison&Objet September 2016: Day 2 Report

There were noticeably more people at the exhibition on Saturday,since all those who couldn't be here from the very beginning have arrived. We invite you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the world's best decor and watch the highlights of the second day of the Parisian exhibition Maison&Objet. There were 127 of them! The second day of the exhibition, compared to the first, gave us a much more diverse range of emotions. Obviously, this is due to the fact that we arrived at about 10 am. And we fulfilled the plan at most - we walked around 4 (!) pavilions. We will tell you right now about what was beautifully laid out and greatly impressed, sparkled and attracted, surprised and inspired. Read also - . We started the day with pavilion number 8, which is located closest to the metro station. The most exclusive and creative luxury is located here - Luxury, Design & Interior Decoration. Right at the entrance - the result of cooperation between Sans Souci and Bohemian Works. Cool designer light from Italy – Artemide. Did you miss it? Discreet luxury, as they call it,from the manufacturer of bathroom accessories Decor Walther. When talking about plumbing, one cannot help but mentionGeberit, whose stand was located not far from Porcelanosa. Moving into the first room of Paris Nord VillepinteExhibition Centre, called Eclectic, we find ourselves in a completely different world. All the best of the world's decor, original, atmospheric and memorable - here. For example, the ethnic chic of hand-made Zenza.Or the Dutch oddities of the Marc Poldermans Aangenaam XL brand. Or something completely exotic from An Atoll.Van Verre stand. Right next door you can appreciate the splendor and style of the Swedish brand Olsson & Jensen. And opposite - sheep are grazing. But there is no question about whose wool Tuline uses to produce bags, textiles and pillows.A little softness and coziness from German designer Anke Drechsel. Such pillows can easily make the interior so that guests feel at home. Original stands and shelves made of wood that adheres to glass or other materials. Manufacturer – Wild-heritage. Fans of Japanese culture could be found at the Tokyo Teshigoto stand. It's easy to find, the main landmark is cats. Not a bad sofa. Commitment to retro and love for old things became the main feature of Les 3 Singes.Many cool little things can be found at the stand of the Chinese company Objets Chinois. Original and simple! Spanish brand Fernando Otero makes it cleara reference to the colonial era, when there was no one who could compare in strength and power with their fleet. The ships went to distant lands and brought back a lot of things that no one in Europe had ever seen before. The unity of individual materials and innovative forms – Dialma Brown knows how to create unique interior solutions. The Chehoma company reminds us that the New Year holidays are approaching, so their stand sparkled with various toys and Christmas tree decorations. The products of the French Essix et Alexander Turpault also have a New Year's feel.Decor and incense, textiles and furniture. The Pomax brand can do a lot. So does Lene Bjerre Denmark. Among the new products of the famous Americandesigner Michael Aram, we found museum-quality pieces. These included cast wall panels and vases, as well as formal napkins with delicate edging. Photography was prohibited, but once they heard that we were from Roomble, we were given free rein. No one experiments with color, texture, shapes and engraving of glass products like Moser. Moving to pavilion number three, we are greeted by the Belgian brand Dome Deco, offering a complete interior concept. The bright color combinations also look very conservative. Blumarine exudes warmth and comfort. Classic, elegant and contemporary style, with a wide range of jacquard and printed fabrics from Svad Dondi. The collections from Du Bout Du Monde also attracted attention. Danish textiles Christina Lundsteen. Hazen Kamp invites us to take a look at the era of the sixties. The interiors of that time are best remembered from films starring Audrey Hepburn or Marilyn Monroe. Richmond Interiors is a Dutch family business. The name alone tells you what to expect here. As we were told at the Georg Jensen standDamask – there are two companies with this name. One deals with silver, and the other, presented in the third pavilion, existed even earlier, and still never tires of delighting customers with samples of beautiful textiles.
