Selection of films # 22: serials and movies with beautiful interiors

There was a Chinese release, so why not?immerse yourself in the melodrama of French comedies, so wayward and elegant. As always, we focus on interiors. Since the whole world is now talking about the Parisian exhibition Maison & Objet, directly from which we share everything cool, the release of interiors in the cinema will also have a French flavor. Films of this country, especially comedies, are very much loved by us. And of course, such interiors will be difficult to find anywhere else. Bonjour et allons-y! And the previous selection can be found . Love at your fingertips (2012) A small French town and the atmosphere of the middle of the last century - costumes, surroundings and, of course, scenery. The film was released quite recently, but the effect of old film is felt in it, which gives everything that is happening even more authenticity. The main character's mansion has beautiful and memorable retro-themed interiors, and it is here that a provincial girl settles, from whom the businessman will make a future world champion in... typing! Umbrella Prick (1980) Do you recognize this one?famous Frenchman? Yes, Pierre Richard, and this is one of the most sparkling comedies with him in the lead role. Here he plays an unpopular actor who is suddenly called to a casting for a major action movie. Accidentally opening the wrong door, he ends up with a mafia boss who has given him the task of killing one bandit. But our hero sincerely thinks that this episode and all the adventures that followed are just a movie shoot. An ageless classic that can still be quite funny today. The Big Walk (1966) Let's go deeper intomore ancient times. The same director as the previous film, Gerard Oury, shot a stunningly kind and funny film about pilots back in 1966. An English fighter was shot down by the Germans over Paris, and the crew decided to jump with parachutes immediately. As a result, one pilot ended up with a painter, the second with the chief conductor, and the third with seals in a zoo. Will they be able to find each other in a huge city, in which every detail is conveyed with a special charm? Fantomas (1964) Continue watchingFrench cinema through the prism of time. Why not sit down to watch the very film that has long scared everyone with the appearance of the villain, but in fact is an excellent crime comedy? Paris is given a lot of time here, since all the action of the film takes place in this city. The confrontation between the commissioner and the elusive criminal, the interiors of fifty years ago and a dashing plot - the perfect recipe for a perfect evening. Frozen (1969) In the big house it's quiet andA rich industrialist lives happily with his wife and son. But suddenly their uncle was found, who had been frozen in a block of ice for a long time after a shipwreck. Scientists brought him back to life, and the family had to settle him in their home. In order not to scare him at first, they created a semblance of the atmosphere of the beginning of the last century in the house. But this unexpectedly led to a huge number of comical situations. Welcome, beaver!(2008) This comedy openly laughs at stereotypes that would be understandable to a resident of any international country. The main character works at a post office in the south of France, but he is suddenly transferred to the city of Berg in the north. There are different rumors about a completely different area, so it is scary to go there. But everything turns out to be quite the opposite - the village is inhabited by the kindest people, sincere and very good. And the details of their way of life - including the interiors - perfectly demonstrate the difference between southerners and northerners. Although the further you go, the more blurred the border becomes, since the nation is one. Asterix and Obelix:mission "Cleopatra" (2001) How did designers and subcontractors work in Ancient Egypt? Was it necessary to approve architectural plans back then? What engineering systems were emphasized at that time? How were palaces built for kings? You will not get an answer to any of these questions - the comedy about Asterix and Obelix was made with only one purpose. To entertain, amuse and parody. And the French know how to do this better than anyone, as was proven in each of the previous examples of the selection.
