Houseboat for unity with nature Bicyclesbeautiful in and of themselves, but also if you wish, you can hook on such interesting accessories as a sauna, a cabin-camper, or even a houseboat. This floating trailer, which was designed by Daniel Durnin, from the Royal College of Art, presents a lot of pleasant surprises: it is light, small and yes, it floats. 
The project, which received the playful name "Bed onwater, ”was posted on the site Inhabitat. According to the idea, it should have been something like a tent or an awning. A tiny space is meant for one or two people. Inside you can sit and lie, there is a small table at which you can drink tea or cut sandwiches. 
Based on traditional technologiesshipbuilding, Durnin has developed its floating bed for multiple rivers and lakes in and around London. After a tiring day spent on a bicycle, instead of setting up a tent on the ground, you can simply lower the trailer into the water and rest. The walls are made of canvas. Some of them can be rolled up to let in some fresh air. 
The idea was to reunite the personwith nature, become part of the landscape. “I hope that my project will awaken people’s desire to be in harmony with nature, bring balance to urban spaces, and not only in London, but around the world.” What could be better than a tiny trailer-camper? One that can travel both on land and on water. A wonderful thing for those who seek solitude, preferring a bicycle as a means of transportation.
