However, working with such wallpaper requires compliance with certain rules. Therefore, it is important to consider the question of how to paste glass mural with your own hands correctly and what is needed for this.

Preparatory work

After the walls are even, you can proceed to their priming. With the help of rollers, several layers of a primer mix should be applied to the surface. The complete drying of the primer will allow the small particles that were on the walls to stick together, which subsequently will not cause inconvenience when gluing the wallpaper. Glass bonding technology
Wallpaper should be measured and cut in accordance withthe size of the walls of the room, while it is not recommended to do this back-to-back on the height of the wall, it is better to leave an allowance in size from 5 to 10 cm. To paste glass mosaic, it is necessary to lubricate them with a roller using special glue. If your walls are very absorbent, the adhesive can be diluted with water. On the surface of the glue should be applied only with the calculation of one sheet, after which it is necessary to attach the glass walls and smooth them with a soft dry roller. 
Scheme of glazing. When working with a cloth, you must be especially careful, trying not to damage the edge, otherwise you have to cut it with a knife under the ruler. Glue the panels to each other, it is important to choose the pattern of the picture. After the wallpaper is glued to the walls, a layer of water-diluted glue must be applied on top of them, so that the paint will later lie on the surface. After the adhesive composition has dried completely, it is possible to begin painting the glass walls with a special paint coating. Acrylic or water dispersive paints are commonly used for glass walls. Perhaps, latex and polyurethane coatings are suitable for you, which are known for their special resistance to abrasion. The chosen shade, the paint should be applied better with a roller. Very often, the owners of the premises want changes, as to the need to change the design of the room and, accordingly, repainting the walls in it. However, on small-relief wallpaper with a thin pattern, the texture of the surface can be smoothed with increasing layers of applied paint. Therefore, it is better to work with fiberglass material in overalls and gloves. And after the end of the process of gluing, it is necessary to air the room and clean it with a water filter.
