In 2012, architect Angelina Alekseevacompleted a project of a luxurious apartment located in Russia. The apartment belongs to a 37-year-old bachelor, who is currently a businessman and spends a lot of time traveling. The owner of this property lived in Europe for three years and fell in love with the Western style of minimalism. The interior design of his apartment can be described in two words: spaciousness and naturalness. Only natural materials used all over the world were chosen for the work. The architect didn't want the interior to turn out like thisin a strict minimalist style, but at the same time tried to design the space in accordance with modern trends and the customer's taste. The interior uses many architectural elements made of natural wood, concrete, stone, as well as various textures, such as smooth leather, carpets, and bed linen. The color scheme is dominated by black, white, and gray. Strict, clear lines combine perfectly with the rounded shapes of the original furniture and the magnificent chandelier in the main room. The private apartments also boast plenty of storage space, including built-in wardrobes. Particular attention was paid to the design of the bedroom, where you can notice the combination of stone with other different textures, such as soft plush carpets, which look simply stunning. The biggest challenge for Angelina Alekseeva was to create a laconic minimalism with its own character. In addition, many complex moments of the project were developed according to the architect's sketches.
