A training seminar was held in the Northern capital,which was conducted by landscape designers who arrived from Poland. They told the assembled Russian professionals about construction, the environment and landscaping. Landscape studio Ogrodownia is one of the leading ones in Poland. Over the years of its existence, the specialists of this company have implemented many cool and prestigious projects. Among them are the largest green roof in Warsaw, a green wall at the airport and a square near the Museum of Jewish History. To share their experience with their Russian colleagues, the studio's designers - Mariusz Pasek and Agnieszka Duts - visited St. Petersburg in the fall.
The meeting with professionals took place within the framework ofeducational program of the design bureau "Green Arrow", which brought together designers from other cities, including Moscow, Samara and others. The lectures covered important issues dedicated to all types of landscape activities. This includes the construction of green roofs or walls, the creation of artificial reservoirs, and even the specifics of rainwater management. To support the lecture part, the most non-standard solutions and specific examples were demonstrated.
