We decided to please our readers with one more thinginteresting design of city apartments. The client wanted her large apartment to be cozy and comfortable. The main idea was to create a functional, comfortable, and elegant interior. The original layout could not be changed, since the walls turned out to be load-bearing, so the designers came up with the idea of making the necessary openings in the walls, having previously received permission from the relevant authorities.
The designers tried to fulfill all the client’s wishes: they organized a spacious guest room, a cozy bedroom, a separate study, and a comfortable room for the bathroom.
Another wish of the hostess was the obligatory presence of a fireplace in the guest room. As a result, the choice fell on the most practical option - a biofuel fireplace.
Real logs are placed around the edges of the fireplace, filling the room with the aroma of wood, adding a touch of warmth to the space.
The client is a fan of minimalism, so the dining area contains only the necessary furniture: a beautiful round table and chairs in elegant white covers, similar to armchairs.
The cozy kitchen didn't need a large dining table; a small glass table that seemed to dissolve into space was enough.
The guest room was made a little smaller and this created space for a dressing room, while the work area was located in the living room.
The bedroom seems spacious because of the mirror on the entire wall, but at the same time it is a closed space because of the thick burgundy curtains: this is exactly the effect that the owner of the apartment was trying to achieve.
The original solution of the designers is hangingcabinets that connect two rooms. In the hallway area, they are used to store shoes and various outdoor items, and in the dining room, they are used as a TV stand. The customer wanted the bathroom to be as spacious as possible. This was done by reducing the size of the kitchen and hallway. There is no bathroom as such, only a cubicle and a washing machine built into the storage system.
