Small apartments

Practical design of mini-apartments in a historic building, Canada

What are mini apartments?Modern urban planning and design define them as small areas from 22.6 to 32.7 sq. m. Such housing is cheaper, consumes less energy and is easier to maintain. How is it created? For an example, our site suggests going to Canada, to the province of British Columbia. The name of the project is The Janion Waterfront Micro-Loft. The place where it was implemented is Janion Hotel Building. This is a historic six-story building, erected in 1891. It was recently restored. Additional extensions were made. On the first floor after the reconstruction, commercial premises appeared. All this does not violate, however, the cultural value of the architectural structure. Now a little bit, located in JanionHotel Building. Apart from the bathroom, the living room is the only room here. The main thing in it is the filling with light. Each block has built-in double beds. The dining table serves as a noticeable unifying element for the entire space. Agree, this is a beautiful example of how successfully one can combine the old with the modern in architecture and design.
