Writer's room by Jarmund / Vigsnæs ASArkitekter, Oslo The Writer's Room is the place where he can easily create without being distracted by anything. That is why the specialists of the architectural bureau Jarmund / Vigsnæs AS Arkitekter came up with the project of a detached two-storey house, located in the backyard of the cottage, which belongs to a married couple of popular modern writers. The miniature structure in the form of a triangle, on the one hand painted black, on the other has a completely glass wall. Thanks to this, the owners can admire the surrounding landscapes, which are one of the sources of their inspiration. Spacious transparent table top near the windowexcludes limitation of the view Natural wood trim, soft fluffy blankets, a staircase with rope railings, which at the same time acts as a bookcase, a comfortable workplace with a glass table and comfortable, carefully thought-out lighting and soundproofing systems - all this is conducive to quiet work and pleasant rest in breaks. In the evening, a brightly lit house is very similar to a lighthouse on top of a hill. What are your impressions of this project?
