To make, you will need foam rubber (10 cm thick), 3 m of furniture fabric, 7 zippers (80 cm long), reinforced threads, PVA glue, a sewing machine. The furniture is presented in 4 parts. Pre-made blanks from foam rubber. To do this, you will need to cut out the following elements (cm):
- 2 squares 80х80;
- 2 rectangles 80x60;
- 2 rectangles 80x20;
- 2 rectangles 80x30.
The foam rubber is pre-glued together.The height of each piece should be 20 cm. Then the fabric is cut out (taking into account seam allowances of 1-1.5 cm). A square of 80x80 cm and a rectangle of 20x160 cm are folded and zippers are sewn in. The product is sewn together like a suitcase. Handles are sewn on the bottom (for carrying the furniture). Dimensions of a frameless sofa.A strip of material is sewn on the inside on both sides (the entire width of the sofa). The smaller the gap between the elements, the tighter the components will be assembled into a bed. Otherwise, the double strip is stitched on top. The next stage involves sewing the rectangles:
- 2 pieces of 80x60 cm;
- 1 piece of 20x120 cm;
- 2 pieces of 20x160 cm.
Joining a 80x60 cm rectangle and 4squares 20x20 cm is made in a similar way. The resulting part is equipped with 2 locks 80 cm long. Before inserting the last element into the cover, it is covered with foam rubber and silk 80 cm wide. This will allow you to quickly insert the lock on the bottom of the resulting product. To get the 4th part, you will need to sew 2 rectangles with the parameters 20x30 cm and 20x80 cm and 1 rectangle 80x78 cm. If the foam rubber sags during use, then the appropriate layers are added to the frameless sofa bed or the foam rubber is unrolled. Leather, fur and other materials can be used to make the product in question. Sewing parts involves internal processing of seams using an overlock or piping.
