Sometimes they help to decorate the interior with a twistthe most unexpected things and ideas. But who would have thought how inspiring the LEGO constructor can be! LEGO is the favorite constructor of children of the post-Soviet period. And their parents too, perhaps. Who has not dreamed of building huge stations, garages, cars or even houses from them? This dream was made a reality by the American architectural studio I-Beam Architecture&Design. Melissa Marx and Vicente Caride (a family of artists), who live in this house in Manhattan, received a very cheerful and dynamic interior, in which the main visual component was the children's room with drawings of the owners themselves on the walls and with an amazing play ladder. Note: you can not only climb up it, but also play in its "holes" with little people. The ladder itself was designed by Sean Kenny, one of two artists in New York officially recognized and licensed by LEGO.This entire construction of cubes required about 20 thousand parts of various colors and shapes. If desired, the staircase can be supplemented with various parts. In the living room, designed as an open planspace, special sliding partition walls have been invented. With their help, you can easily fence off an office, studio or even a gallery to showcase the owners' creativity.Despite the fact that each of these walls weighs225 kg each, they move very easily (with the help of rollers). So the construction set is not only in the son's room, adults also have something to have fun with.As for the materials, the floor in the apartmentis made of walnut wood, and in combination with white walls, this helped to create a feeling of lightness in the space. White walls also serve as a great background for drawings and illustrations, which help to create the illusion of dynamics.
