Turquoise color in the interior of the living room TurquoiseThe color in the interior of the apartment designed by the specialists of the Brain Factory studio became the tool that helped to form the focal point of the space. The apartment, located a few minutes' walk from the historic center of Bologna, acquired a renewed, fresh look thanks to this solution. The designers were initially faced with the following task:the task was to develop an optimal layout for these apartments, more in line with the current needs of the owners. The position of the load-bearing walls determined rather strict restrictions in the organization of the interior, and they had to be taken into account. The authors of the project had to develop a new strategy for the rational use of space.A series of continuous spaces is exactly thatthe apartments acquired this configuration after the reconstruction. The focal point of the design, as already mentioned, was the turquoise wall in the living room. Its velvety structure is set off by the golden shine of vintage frames, placed in an asymmetrical order. The aesthetics of the space are based on unique components: built-in wall modules, “invisible doors” and a fragment of a real lawn, trimmed flush with the floor. The laconicism of the furniture is balanced by the richnessthe texture of the walls and floor, the presence of living plants and spectacular prints. The intimacy of the bedroom design is ensured by well-organized lighting - very soft, warm and enveloping. Turquoise color in the interior of this apartmentperforms several functions at once. Firstly, it creates a unique character of the design. Secondly, the wall of a contrasting shade successfully distracts attention from the strict linearity of the space. And finally, it is the turquoise color in combination with the muted shine of the golden frames that acts as a reminder of the respectful age of the building, evoking associations with baroque interiors. Did you find the combination of turquoise and gray colors in this project interesting?
