Представляете себе здание в виде врезавшегося в glass cube land, and in the middle of snow-capped mountains, no? Then you simply must check out this incredible hostel project by the architectural firm Atelier 8000. The designers from Atelier 8000 created this fascinating project for the Kežmarská Hut architectural competition. Due to its position in the landscape, this glass cube is like an unstable snow-covered block revealed by a retreating glacier. Each side of this hostel representsis a square grid made up of aluminum panels, lots of windows, and solar panels. The latter are installed in such a way as to generate as much solar energy as possible while minimizing carbon emissions. And the most amazing thing is that none of the facades are at right angles to the ground. The interior design is traditionally presentedwarm and cozy wooden finish. And even though this is only a project on paper, there is absolutely no doubt that when it comes to life, there will definitely be no end to visitors. After all, there are a lot of people who are ready to appreciate the snow-covered landscapes and visit such a unique complex in the picturesque Slovak Carpathians. dezeen.com
