The awarding ceremony will be held in November, but from June the award committee will accept applications for participation in the competition. All will be 28 awards for such nominations as: a residential complex of the premium class, the best elite class apartment complex, the best business class apartment complex, the best comfort class apartment complex and many others. Prior to receiving awards, participants will have to undergo a multilevel selection. The Committee will evaluate not only the presentation of participants, but also the residential complexes themselves. The culmination of the award will be the award ceremony, which will bring together the leading developers and architects of Russia. The new symbol of the Urban Awards was the inverted "8", because this is the number of awards in 2016.
