Italian house: eco-friendly and non-volatile

The area of this house is only 63 sq. m.It was designed by the Italian architect Daniele Menichini. He skillfully synthesized eco-style and minimalism, steel and wood, lightness and texture. The house called Green Zero is located in the Italian town of Treviso. Its author is the famous architect and designer Daniele Menichini. The house project is made in the spirit of modern architectural minimalism. It attracts with its practicality, functionality and simplicity. This option allowed to solve the key eco-idea - merging with nature. Thanks to the correct geometric shapes, it is good to solve various engineering ideas. In this case, with the help of the original layout, it was possible to fit the tree into the interior of the house. And this is only one of the techniques used by Daniele Menichini.

The peculiarity of modern minimalism

Modern minimalism involves not onlyuse of simple geometric shapes, special attention in this style is paid to the quality of materials. Ecotheme is a fashionable trend, so most often in the design of modern interiors such materials as wood, stone, concrete in combination with steel structures are used. Pay attention to the terrace. It is used as a place of rest and is open on all sides. A minimal set of furniture allows you to comfortably observe the local beauty. Metal pipes form an interesting architectural object. They not only perform a decorative function, but also serve as a support for part of the roof.

More natural light

Modern minimalism is different from itsanalogue, which was popular in the 60s, in that instead of artificial light sources in the interior they try to use more natural light. In this house, panoramic windows from floor to ceiling became a great alternative to traditional light sources. So it was possible to fill the house with light, air, lightness, and harmoniously fit it into the exterior.

Tree in the middle of the house

Often when building houses (even in eco-style)the trees that grow on the site of the future building suffer. Daniele Menichini solved this problem and made the tree part of the house! It continues to grow, becoming the living center of Green Zero.

Without unnecessary details

Minimalism is remarkable in that it does not requireunnecessary decorative details and furniture. This interior is a vivid confirmation of this. The emphasis here is on comfort and convenience. The furniture has simple geometric shapes, but is not devoid of originality. The center of attention is the bed with orthopedic mattresses and adjustable tilt angle. Near it is a pouf and an armchair, the shape of which echoes the general concept of the geometry of the house. The table and hanging shelf have the same texture as the floor. All items complement each other, which makes the interior even more harmonious.

Natural shades and combination of textures

Thanks to the color scheme, the interior of the house is notseems boring, but at the same time it is laconic and has a calming effect. This effect is achieved through the use of natural shades. I would like to note the original decoration of the wall near which the bed stands. It turned out to be a unique symbiosis of color and texture: the beauty of natural wood comes to the fore, and the blue-green background, despite its brightness, does not draw attention to itself.

Autonomy

Thanks to solar panels, whichinstalled on the roof, the house is provided with heat and electricity. So it became not only "ecologically friendly", but also energy efficient. The author of the project managed to create a comfortable place to live and harmoniously fit it into the local landscape. Reconnection with nature became dominant in this project, and the minimalist style only contributed to this.

Note!

  • In the minimalist style, it is appropriate to use modular transformable furniture, when one item has several functions. This allows you not to overload the space.
  • Minimalism is also suitable for small spaces, but in this case you will have to learn to avoid an abundance of small details.
  • Actively use only 2 colors, the third can be contrasting and serve as an accent.
