It is a mix of cultures, nationalities and mentalities: hipsters get along with Latin Americans, and Chinese restaurants are adjacent to signs in Spanish. The interior of the apartment turned out to be in keeping with the area - multicultural: the designer combined the American spirit and Scandinavian style. Lauren Geremia, Geremia Design Lauren is the founder and chief designer of her own studio Geremia Design. She has repeatedly been noted as a promising young designer by such publications as Forbes and Architectural Digest. All of Lauren's projects include unique objects and furniture made by her and her friends, she pays special attention to works of art. Her works include the offices of Dropbox and Instagram. The main components of the interior are clean lines, simple shapes and a light palette. The choice of white for the decoration was not accidental: the walls in this apartment act as a background for a whole collection of works by contemporary artists and photographers, including Noémie Goudal, Tauba Auerbach and Joseph Hoflehner.and the dining room are combined into a common space andare zoned with a corner sofa. The public area has two “modes”: for relaxation and for receiving guests. For the second situation, the dining room has a spacious wine cabinet, a large dining table for six people and a vintage bar cart, and the coffee table in the sofa group can be transformed into two at once – in case guests arrive.The main connecting element of the interiorThe public area is dominated by wooden beams on the ceiling: they make the space integral and allow for a combination of modern and classic furniture. The overall decor is very minimalistic, almost ascetic, with all the colours being subdued and natural.The kitchen is truly bachelor's:minimum of equipment, small work surface, black and white color scheme.
