Do these colors inspire you? — Oddly enough, there are many basic colors, but they are never boring. For example, when we talk about beige in the interior, we immediately imagine this place as very safe. But I do not think of my interiors in this context. I often use gray, but the same can be done with another color, for example, with green. Or use blue and yellow, and in the end you will get 20 different tones of one color. And in basic interiors you can add particles of color, but you need to be very careful. — What colors do your Russian clients prefer? — The ones I offer them (laughs). My Russian clients don’t like too bright colors, although I use them in my interiors. — - What color do you think it will be?the most important for interiors next year? - These are deep, voluminous, darker colors. For example, emerald green. The more time passes, the further we move away from white. Previously, there was a period of minimalism, but we are moving forward. Now minimalist trends are mixed with objects from the 70s of the 20th century. In design, there should be exactly this kind of opposition - for example, a combination of a beautiful and voluminous product from the 17th century with stainless steel from the 20th century. — - Do you remember how you worked onyour first project? - Yes. My first contract had a budget of $150,000, but I was paid much less. It was an apartment in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area, which belonged to an American investment company. — — What was the hardest part about this?project? — It's impossible to pick one in particular. It was one of the easiest projects for me because it was the first one — I worked only on it, I was completely focused. That made it easy.
