Thanks to design innovations, the designceilings today is possible not only with the use of plasterboard and other materials, a combination of various colors, but also the creation of complex lighting on it. All this together allows you to play up the ceiling plane no less originally than the walls themselves. For example, the design of a living room with an exquisitely finished ceiling is the main trend in the interiors of modern apartments (Fig. 1).

If the living room design is under the auspices of modern trends, then the ceiling decoration must also be in modern trends and materials. And vice versa, in a classic or retro style living room, the ceiling should not stand out as an avant-garde or high-tech direction.
Pros of Ceiling Design
With the help of design and modern materials, competently executed on the ceiling, you can resort to the following ideas, realizing significant advantages in the space of the rooms:

There is also a combination of these 2 bases. It is suitable for all interiors, and when changing the style of the living room, the design of the stretch ceiling can also be changed. In living rooms with low ceilings, it is better to stretch a glossy material, which will visually increase the room by 1.5-2 times due to its reflection in the ceiling surface. Additional Ceiling Decoration
In addition to ceiling cladding materialsliving room, their design can be created using frescoes, stucco, bas-reliefs, illuminations, intricate lamps and LED backlighting. Using a combination of a chandelier and spotlights, a variety of lighting is created, which can be adjusted independently depending on whether you need bright or subdued light in the living room.
