We invite you to get acquainted with the amazingbedroom design of an unusual house with a modest footage, which was successfully developed and implemented by talented designers and specialists of the Glamour Nest design bureau in the American city of Los Angeles, California. The appearance of twins in this American family was a pleasant surprise. When they grew up, the owners of the apartment faced the problem of limited space for the location of the bedroom of the newborns and the eldest four-year-old son. When arranging a boudoir for the boy, a small room was chosen, which was separated from the rest of the living space by a small partition. This area had modest dimensions, so to develop a reconstruction project, the couple invited a talented specialist from the Glamour Nest architectural bureau. Designer Jessica McClendon came up with and implemented a secluded and secluded corner with a total area of 4 square meters for a calm and serene sleep for the eldest child. She equipped it with a practical furniture set and magnificent interior items, which are universal, so they are great for the growth and development of the baby. This corner had a simple and straightforward layout, but the walk-through door and closet reduced the area of free space and left the designer with only 3 square meters to arrange a sleeping place. The narrow, oblong room was equipped with a magnificent bed with a high back and an L-shaped headboard, covered with soft velor fabric and quilted decor. It fits perfectly into the decor and at the same time harmonizes perfectly with the soft blue shade in the design of the walls. Before the reconstruction, this room had a simple couch, which the owners occasionally used for guests to relax. The interior of the room had a dull and lifeless appearance.
The bedding that the owners and the specialist chosefor this project, had spacious drawers for storing bedding and a stunning high back with an L-shaped silhouette, which was screwed to the partitions with screws. Thus, they created wonderful conditions for a comfortable and peaceful sleep for the child.
There is a small wooden table next to the bed.A nightstand from Serena & Lily with an unusual base and capacious upper drawers with metal fittings. It was decorated with bright toys that gave the room a special charm and aesthetic appeal.
Since the room is located on the first floor of the dream house, it was necessary to equip a lot of space for storing toys. The designer used a cabinet next to the shower for this purpose.
The painting of mother and son hangs above the nightstand. It gives the boudoir decor incredible charm and individuality.
Small accents and decorative detailscomplete the room's appearance. An original lamp with a round, volumetric drum-shaped lampshade, located at the head of the bed, was used for lighting. It was equipped with a chain switch that the boy could easily pull when it was time to sleep. Stunning cotton linen from the Restoration Hardware Baby & Child brand, designed in a rich red and blue color scheme, was used to decorate the bed.
