Eco-authorism in the Scandinavian spirit: a house with an area of 235 squares

The interior is like in the owners' beloved Finland,natural materials and a picturesque view from the panoramic windows. Designers Andrey Privalov and Olga Podgornaya have decorated a stylish country house for a young family, where both parents and children feel good The owners of this cottage are a young family with two children. While traveling around Finland, they were inspired by the local interiors and wanted to recreate their atmosphere in their country house. To this end, the family turned to designers Andrey Privalov and Olga Podgornaya, who managed to decorate the house in the Scandinavian spirit, avoiding the asceticism inherent in this style. She graduated with honors and currently works at the design studio PRIVALOV DESIGN. www.privalovdesign.com.ua The original layout of the house has remained virtually unchanged: the only floor houses the bedrooms of the parents and children, a guest room, a kitchen-living room, two spacious bathrooms, a dressing room, a laundry room, an entrance hall with a vestibule, and a terrace. The designers themselves created the overall style of the interioris described as eco-minimalism with elements of Scandinavian style: throughout the house, natural materials are used to the maximum, natural colors are used, and there is a feeling of air and space.It was decided to design the kitchen and living room assingle space, but the clients asked to plan the public area so that it could be isolated at any time. To do this, Andrey and Olga used sliding glass doors from the Italian company Rimadesio. Andrey Privalov, PRIVALOV DESIGN:— When choosing where to order the partition, we settled on Rimadesio, since it turned out to be the only company that makes fairly large sliding doors. The size of one such door in our project was 3 m high and 1.5 m wide.They dilute Scandinavian asceticism inThe public area has bright yellow accents found in textiles, decorative items and upholstery of upholstered furniture. And LED lighting, the so-called hidden light, makes the interior even more cozy.In the parents' bedroom, as well as in the kitchen-living room,Quite a lot of black color was used. This was done for a reason: with the help of contrasting dark and light elements, the designers gave the interior depth and emphasized the geometry of the rooms. The master bedroom is adjoined by a full-size bathroom., also by Rimadesio. The semi-transparent tinted wardrobe partitions allow easy viewing of clothes while at the same time creating depth and blurring the boundaries of the room.The children's room turned out to be the brightest andbright in the house, since the boys lead an active lifestyle, and the interior was created to match them: cheerful, dynamic, with an area for active games and a large map on the wall. All the furniture in this room was custom-made according to the designers' drawings.It was decided to decorate the master bathroom in a neutral light color scheme, with an emphasis on the texture of the marble and 3D wall panels with a beautiful wavy relief. The following were used in this interior:

  • kitchen - Poliform (Italy), Phoenix series;
  • sliding doors - Rimadesio (Italy);
  • sofa in the living room - Busnelli (Italy);
  • dressing room - Rimadesio (Italy);
  • furniture in the nursery is made to order according to the sketches of designers;
