Selection of films # 18: serials and movies with beautiful interiors

From now on, a weekly selection of interiorsIt will be even better in the cinema — now we are making it together with you! The best representatives of the design industry share with us the films that impressed them with their interiors and architecture We asked you to send us several films for the next selection. And the result exceeded all expectations — designers and architects gave us so much advice that it will not be possible to fit it all into today's list. Thanks to everyone who took part! Write more, so that there is enough for a hundred selections! And today's issue we will start with several cool TV series. Suits (2011 —) Designer Inga Azhgirey remembered the series "Suits", another name of which is "White Collars", and the whole world knows it as Suits. Last week there was news that the USA Network channel extended the show for a 7th season. No one expected that the series about lawyers and attorneys would become so popular. The interiors in it, whether it be the apartments of the main characters or their office, are chosen very well, but the most interesting thing is to pay attention to details. Mad Men (2007–2015) 4 Emmy Awards in a rowin the category "Best Drama Series". Extremely positive reviews from critics and the all-conquering love of viewers. And a subject that captivates the screens: how an advertising agency worked in the 60s. Naturally, a lot of attention is paid to the spirit of that time and the global upheavals of fifty years ago. The series was recommended by interior designer Elena Kalinina, who described the local interiors as "masterpieces". Poirot (1989 – 2013) Well, who doesn’t know?gallant and resourceful detective Hercule Poirot, who came straight from the pages of Agatha Christie's novels? The film adaptation of his adventures is no less refined and talented, as the atmosphere of England of the thirties is perfectly conveyed: elegant suits, luxury cars, interiors in the Art Deco style. All the details are thought out, the acting is impressive, and even the table setting is done in the right way. Architect Ruslan Kirnichansky especially strongly recommended the episode "Hercule Poirot's Christmas". Sex and the City 2 (2010) The world of fashion andglamour, big money and big opportunities – in the sequel, Charlotte, Carrie, Samantha and Miranda increasingly move in these circles. The interiors have become even more beautiful, and it is in the sequel that successful women discover for themselves (and for the viewer) the United Arab Emirates and all the oriental exoticism inherent in this country. Thanks for the advice to designer Nina Menshchikova. Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2005) The ChiefXenia Design Studio Ksenia Bobrikova sent to this selection the very film in which Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt portray a happy family. But at the same time they work as secret agents of two different spy organizations. Living in one beautiful house, they at one moment receive the task from their bosses to eliminate each other. Will love be able to win? Charlie's Angels (2009) The Last Two Moviesadvised by architect Nana Turkhanova. In "Charlie's Angels", as in the previous film, a top-secret spy organization appears again. And three girls, played by actresses Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu, work in it. They approach all tasks gracefully, brightly and with complete positivity. This film is pure action, a complete pleasure for the eyes thanks to constant explosions, chases, humor and interiors. By the way, the main villain has a very beautiful house with panoramic glazing. Oblivion (2013) The romance of regression in thisfilm is felt most strongly. The distant future, all that remains of civilization are beautifully visualized cities overgrown with jungle, and individual computerized dwellings in which the last people on the planet live. Tom Cruise works here as a repairman for drones monitoring the area, and lives in one of these buildings. Snow-white walls and ceilings, an abundance of metal and glass, as well as a swimming pool, are very organically combined with each other and with the views, each frame being a masterpiece of neo-futurism. You believe in the landscapes and the surroundings, and it's amazing.
