An interior made by a professional is almostalways beautiful, thoughtful and practical. However, even people who are far from design are capable of creating something truly outstanding. Today we are considering just such a case Do good and throw it into the water. American immunologist Salter Price decided to paraphrase this philosophical idea from an arthouse Soviet cartoon. The mother of two children came up with something like “create the apartment of your dreams, spend 12 years of your life on it, put your soul into it and… sell it.” All loft fans and passionate admirersindustrial-brick romantics know that initially these spaces were literally created and equipped by hand. Together with her husband, Price bought three small lofts with a vulgar modern renovation - carpet, MDF walls, etc. For the next few years, the young family manuallystripped away plaster, tiles and laminate to the coveted concrete and brick base, and then searched, bought, collected and combined the most unexpected items along with the most necessary ones. This is how a partition made of grass and resin, a bed with wheels from a vintage warehouse cart, a loft-style table made by hand, a wooden Japanese bathtub and a whole sea of strange, antique, unusual, sometimes rusty and shabby things appeared - the result is an eclectic, unique style with charm and mystery. The owners admit that what they wanted most was to get rid of unnecessary partitions, but at the same time they made a lot of effort to maintain a certain degree of privacy. True, after 12 years of persistent and selfless work, the Price family decided to put their "brainchild" on the market. Needless to say, the apartment did not stand empty for long without owners. kudaphotography.com
