The New Year is just around the corner, and you still don’t have anythingready? We are rushing to help with master classes from the decorator of the Razzle Dazzle studio. You will learn how to stylishly decorate a Christmas tree, originally set a festive table, decorate a children's room and... There are only a few days left until the New Year, and there is still so much to do. We decided to help you and persuaded the studio's decorator Tatyana Efimchuk to arrange a master class for you on New Year's home decor. Tatyana kindly agreed, went to the showroom of the American furniture brand and prepared three master classes! Tatyana Efimchuk, decorator Tatyana is a decorator and co-founder of the Razzle Dazzle studio, a member of the Union of Designers of Russia, a window dresser with 12 years of experience and a real artist. Decorating a Christmas tree You should take one basic color as a basis and select the dominant (70%) number of toys in this shade. They can vary in size and texture - matte, glossy, shiny. However, the color must be the same. In our case, it is white.
It is also advisable to choose a uniform shape for the toys - balls, diamonds or icicles.
Next, we add another shade to the main color. In our case, it is mint. It will be about 20%.
The remaining 10% are accents, we chose gold. If you want the tree to be perceived exclusively as gold, make it the dominant shade and choose 70% of gold toys.
The trend of choosing non-trivial Christmas trees with each passing yearyear only increases. Forest beauties are now decorated with fresh flowers, homemade toys and fruits. Decorating a Christmas tree with flowers is a kind of trend that has become a classic. In our case, flowers should be perceived as a dominant element and selected in accordance with the palette of the tree itself. If it is white, like ours, then the flowers should also be white.
Fans of original steps can make most of the flowers golden. In this case, they will be a strong accent.
The color of the lights is selected to match the overall tone of the tree -cold or warm light. The brighter the tree is thanks to the lights, the more festive it is, and there should be a lot of lights. When to hang them, at the beginning of decorating the tree or at the end - it does not matter, but what is really important is to hide the wires well.
Artificial snow will help create the effectsnow-covered Christmas tree. A generous sprinkling of snow is the final part of the decoration, plus any decorative confetti, stars and serpentine. Table decoration Old Mildton Table Our table setting is for a romantic, festive or pre-holiday dinner for two. Therefore, we did not save space. The presented version of the decor can be called youthful and more atmospheric than gastronomic.
The feast is a fragment of the holiday, filled withsweet anticipation of gifts. Therefore, we will actively project the surprises of New Year's Eve onto the table setting. For this, we use toys in glasses, a Christmas tree in a water jug, unrealistically large snowflakes and small horses. The scale of the objects can be incomparable. We put candles in a bundle separately, and put toys in candlesticks. The game is underway. Tangerine peels are also part of this game. The main thing here is that it doesn't turn out clumsy.
The mood is also conveyed through aromas - tangerines, Christmas trees, burning candles and champagne.
In order for the table to be in harmony with the tree, you shoulduse cross-type things - color combinations or toys. They should not differ in their content and their philosophy. In our case, this is both the color and the content itself.
X-Tipton Console Table Decoration for Kids You don't have to have a lot of space to create a festive mood.
A console table (in this case made of Canadian oak) 50-60 cm wide cannot stop the decorator’s desire to spread the festive feeling throughout the entire house.
A big celebration is possible even in a small oneroom. The main thing is to approach the matter in a non-trivial way. When creating a composition for the children's area, you can limit yourself to a simple and understandable sweet table. Put fir branches and porcelain figurines in the plates for hot dishes.
In the composition as an active elementYou can use a photo in a frame. The atmosphere is also noticeably transferred through the photo. The black frame in our case is a color accent. Everything else is selected in warm pastel colors.
Favorite toys can also become part of the New Year's decor. We put a sleepy bunny in the chair, which echoes its eared brothers on the console.
Decorating consoles for a business office. Strict spaces - reception areas, meeting rooms, offices - can and should also be festive.
To make the decoration appropriate, you canuse books, paperweights, writing instruments, maps and other objects from the office entourage. It is worth adding traditional New Year's objects and symbols to the composition: tangerines, candles, fir branches, toys and snow. We use the principle of tiering - vase in vase, tangerine on tangerine. Traditional tinsel, rain and all Soviet attributes are now put in vases, mixed with glowing lights - and nothing else.
In one space you can organizeseveral festive compositions, which are naturally different in their content and functionality - children's, business, romantic and traditional. They should all overlap.
