You follow fashion and adore the loft style, butAre you afraid that you won’t be able to properly implement your ideas? We looked into one of the ultra-fashionable lofts of Rio de Janeiro and figured out how to do the same. Details are in our article As an example, we chose one of the brightest and most fashionable interiors of the last six months. The authorship belongs to the RO+CA studio. The apartment was conceived as an analogue of New York youth lofts, but the result turned out to be so interesting that now the Americans are sharing their Brazilian experience in developing innovative interiors. Rodrigo Beze and Carlos Carvalho, founders and leading designers of the Studio Ro+Ca design studio studioroca.com
Living room
We'll start with the living room.It occupies a central place in the 120-meter loft. The authors emphasized that a 30-year-old young man lives in the apartment, who loves to invite friends and hold noisy, cheerful parties. Concrete walls, minimalism, pipes and appropriate lighting really take us to the club atmosphere of New York, which sleeps and eats at parties. Large cozy fuchsia sofa in the centerroom says that the owner of the apartment clearly gravitates towards some pretentiousness. Perhaps he is a musician, or a radio host on a fashionable radio station, or a stylist of a large shopping gallery. Very progressive and modern. The original light panel in the form of the English phrase "everything is fine", or ok, adds even more bright American chic to the interior. In the small but cozy dining room, the loft owner's friends probably drink strong, aromatic tea after parties that last past midnight and share their impressions.
Kitchen
Brazilian Loft Kitchen Captures Attentionsome cinematic quality, it resembles the ideal studio kitchens of some culinary show. But despite this, the kitchen area is clearly very functional. We see that there is nothing superfluous, but there is enough space, built-in appliances and conveniently placed cabinets complete the idealistic picture. In fact, the whole secret of this kitchen is in strict precision. Everything is done strictly according to plan and in centimeter compliance. Dark furniture and lacquered coatings added the "expensiveness" that was missing in the overall interior. The hood is made very interestingly.A wide pipe simply sticks out of the ceiling. But the authors of the project assure that this is how it should be, that it is part of the industrial loft style. The kitchen-bar stool makes the bar counter even more unusual. If you look from this angle, it seems that we are still in some very fashionable club.
Bathroom
The bathroom is almost one hundred percent pleasing to the eyeclassic. Soft pastel colors, marble, ikebana, a wide square sink (also a highlight), bedside tables with elongated handles. But we are returned to the industrial reality of the loft by the unprocessed stone and concrete walls, not decorated in any way. You can fall in love with a mirror. It consists of four oval parts. Not very practical, but incredibly beautiful. Don't be afraid, you can order such a mirror in any workshop. Now mirrors are cut the way the customer wants.
Bedroom
The loft bedroom is designed in a strict minimalist style. In the sleeping area there is a bed, a reproduction of a club poster and a bedside table with a glamorous Chanel inscription.Note that this stylish nightstand is made by hand in exactly 5 minutes - airbrushing using a stencil, stencils are sold in every interior design store. The bedroom has a comfortable work area. When the owner gets tired of the noise and friends, he retreats to his improvised office and writes a book or visualizes another super design. The loft interior turned out to be not Brazilian at all. You have seen for yourself how easy it is to implement. It is enough to free up as much space as possible, leave the walls alone, do not decorate them with anything and make a couple of very bright accents: a fuchsia sofa, neon lights, a picture of Barbie, an oil barrel from Chanel - and your loft will become ultra-fashionable in the blink of an eye. In the meantime, some practical advice for the brave souls who have already drawn their ideal loft in their minds.
