I Saloni WorldWide Moscow will open its doors for the 11th time

One of the most important events in the world will take place in Octoberworld of interior design. Moscow will host the I Saloni WorldWide Moscow 2015 exhibition. From 14 to 17 October this year, the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre will welcome everyone interested in design and interior innovations at the annual, highly anticipated event, which is being held for the eleventh time — i Saloni WorldWide Moscow. Over time, the event is becoming even more popular and gaining in scope. This year, more than 40,000 visitors and journalists will see 335 exhibits (280 of which are Italian, 55 — from representatives of other European countries). The i Saloni venues will host lectures andmaster classes where gurus of their craft will discuss design and architecture topics, in particular Luca Nichetto and Cino Zucchi, Carlo Colombo will participate. Luca Nichetto will give a talk called “European Italian” — about the work of a designer torn between Italy and Sweden, and how these constant trips are reflected in his creations. Cino Zucchi in his talk “Italy: Continuity of Traditions and Innovative Character of Contemporary Design” will talk about the trends of the Italian market and share his thoughts on how cultural and everyday traditions are woven into contemporary design. However, the audience will only hear these speecheson the second and third days of the i Saloni WorldWide Moscow 2015 master class session. The exhibition will open with a round table, where they will discuss not only the problems of generating successful design ideas, but also the process of how to create a product from an idea that can be brought to market, and how to be competitive in this market. Today, representatives of the design and architecture sphere are concerned with the problems of the relationship between the individuality of the creative nature and the manufacturer, who lives by the laws of economics, globalization and standardization. And of course, since the event is taking place in the capital of Russia, there will be a conversation about how all these mechanisms are implemented in our country. This year will be no exception for the youngdesigners who are looking for new opportunities and want to demonstrate their talent to Europe — they will once again be able to try their luck on the Salone Satellite WorldWide Moscow platform. This competition opens the way for enterprising and creative people to the European world of design. 39 aspiring designers from Russia and neighboring countries will gather, they will present their original projects on the theme of “Planet of Life” to the judgment of experienced and wise colleagues. Three winners will be chosen, whose names will be announced on October 16 — they will go to Milan for the Salone Satellite exhibition in April 2016.
