This project is quite complex and long, it was developed as the company acquired new premises in the Northern capital, and consisted of four independent projects, which occupied a total of three floors of the Benoit Business Center (a total of about 10,000 sq. m).

In this project we used very brightsolutions — a large number of huge, enlarged Yandex icons, thanks to which users literally enter the digital world of the company. We are used to seeing them only as miniature pixels on the screen, but in this office you can touch them or even visit inside. Considering how often something changes in the search engine, many icons have already gone out of use, so now it is also a kind of museum of the development of the company's services.

The Polyanka club village on New Riga isa long and interesting project that we worked on from 2003 to 2013. On an area of several hectares, we had to design a village of 25 houses with infrastructure, where all the cottages would be made according to individual projects, in addition, it was necessary to develop small administrative and service buildings.

The houses were supposed to be sold with finishing, thereforeFor some of them we developed interiors (if, of course, we had time before the houses themselves were sold). The most difficult thing in this project was to imagine a "modern" client with good taste and to come up with a house and interior for him. The location for the development was also interesting, with plots around a hill, so we had to take into account the features of the developed relief.

As a result, we divided the houses into several blocks orsupplied with a high base and so on. This is one of our very first houses.The client wanted a modern "space" interior, so that all the trees on the small plot were preserved, and he also needed a wine cellar. As a result, the house turned out to have a rather complex plan, and the roots of one tree had to be hidden in a concrete sleeve, but the house acquired memorable features. Between the two wings, on the roof, it was possible to organize a terrace that is not visible from neighboring plots, another terrace with wooden flooring goes out onto the plot, through which trees grow.

Our most interesting project, in our opinion, is the parasite office. This is a concept that allows using light trusses to fix small structures between the blind ends of houses.

Thus, the new building already usesexisting, saving urban space. It is assumed that it can also be used to connect the communications of adjacent buildings, hence the name.

We developed this concept for ourown office, it is in this form that it became known. In this version, the parasitic office is a three-story structure, finished with glass and cellular polycarbonate, with an exploitable roof. The total area of the premises is 230 square meters, the lower mark above the roadway is 4.5 meters, meets all standards and allows fire trucks to freely enter the yard.

This project received a great response in the press, including foreign press; in addition to architectural magazines, it was written about in business publications such as the Huffington Post and others.

Soon we started receiving requests and we discoveredgreat interest in lightweight structures and developed quite a few projects that involved a lightweight frame with a polycarbonate coating. For example, in the office of the dating site Badoo we havethere was a wall on which books were supposed to hang (an alternative to a traditional library). To make it, we experimented with magnetic coatings for a long time until we found ones that allowed even fairly heavy books, weighing half a kilo, to hang.

In the Odessa office of Yandex we decided to dowalls made of "old" copper, which would remind us of steamship boilers or battered ship sides. The sheets of copper that they brought us simply shone and looked, to put it mildly, not the best.

In the end, we painfully poisoned them with everything we had.at hand, from detergents to acids and even beer - in the end, we managed to select reagents and bring the copper sheets to the desired condition.
