Style
I love working in all styles:English classicism, art deco, French chic, French Provence, urban, Scandinavian, pop art, eclecticism. Less close are minimalism, baroque. But I can’t say that I follow the style literally, each time it turns out as some kind of author’s reworking, my “variations on a theme”.
Price tag
The price for services depends on the complexity of the object, the task at hand, and the volume of proposed work. The average price ranges from 50 to 100 euros per square meter.
Uniqueness
Uniqueness lies in the special ability to work withcolor and textures, decor. And maintain your vision of the project, taking into account the customer's characteristics: his personality, attachments, tastes, life experience.
Favorite projects
First of all, this is, perhaps, an apartment in a residential complex"Golden Keys". The customer was already well acquainted with me from previous joint projects of both residential premises and offices. Therefore, the degree of his trust in me was high, and decisions were made easily. It was necessary to combine two neighboring apartmentswith a free layout. The project always begins with setting a task: how to properly organize the space based on the customer's lifestyle and needs. At the same time, it is sometimes necessary to take into account future developments. For example, before the start of the project, the client was a young single man, but I insisted that a children's room should be provided. And I was not mistaken - a year and a half later, he moved into the new apartment with his wife and newborn child.
Elena TeplitskayaThe concept of space was as follows. The apartment was divided into three parts: an area for receiving large friendly companies - a living room, kitchen and dining room; a private area - a bedroom, a children's room, a dressing room and a large bathroom; a special area - the owner's personal office with its own bathroom (an absolutely masculine space, even the bathroom, with all my love for color, was designed in black and white). An interesting challenge was to connect the kitchen andliving room in such a way that the kitchen does not look like a kitchen, but becomes part of a single stylish space for friendly parties. Therefore, the furniture was chosen in a special way. Instead of upper cabinets, shelves with lighting were installed, and hanging lower bases visually seem to float in the air.The customer is a fan of eco-style, so the materialsused in the project are exclusively natural: wood, leather, textile, metal, glass. For example, in the living room, seven types of wood were used in laying the parquet! The apartment's lighting scenario is absolutely unique. Using the "smart home" system, you can completely change the interior with the help of lighting with one click of a button. The decor uses Venetian glass, ethnic art objects from India, Nepal, China, and my own designer glass.
Elena TeplitskayaA great solution was found for the guestbathroom. The customer suggested that I choose the style myself, and it seems to me that this room turned out to be one of the most beautiful - in an oriental style, with "carpet" tiles on the floor, a washbasin cabinet made of orange corian, and ethnic decor. And the walls are lined with glass tiles with copper foil.
Elena TeplitskayaAn interesting story turned out with greata hallway mirror with an orange wooden frame and a silver-plated crown. Due to its impressive size - 2.4 by 2.4 m - it took some effort to lift it into the apartment, placing it on the roof of the elevator!
Apartment project "Na Shabolovka"
The two-room apartment is located in a "Stalinist" building.house. It was necessary to squeeze maximum convenience out of its small space. The task was to preserve a comfortable bedroom, having arranged a dressing room next to it, a large bathroom with amazing windows under the ceiling, to re-equip the living room so that it would accommodate functional areas for relaxation, for receiving friends, a work space with a five-meter table, an exhibition of the customer's original photographs taken by him during numerous travels. The customer is kind, attentive and progressive, he perceived all my ideas positively! And as a result, a bright and cozy project was created.
Project "Apartment in Voronezh"
This project, like the Golden Keys, is an examplelong-term cooperation with the customer, this is the fourth object that I have done for him. And he asked me to design an elegant small apartment for his own residence, giving me complete carte blanche in choosing the style, color and decor! A rare case of such trust from the client. The apartment turned out to be very bright, extraordinary, with a luxurious bedroom, with four (!) balconies, made in different styles, with a lot of "tasty" decor!
Quick poll
- Elena, please tell us aboutyour team? — — I have been heading the Teplitskaya Design studio for 16 years! There are 11 people in the team. We are all a close-knit team, almost a family, regardless of age — young, optimistic and very creative people, and each of us brings our own unique energy and mood to the team. We know how and love to perform non-standard tasks in a coordinated and prompt manner in a short time. — — Tell us a little about yourself. — — I am interested in everything: glass, designer jewelry, clothing collections, interiors — both residential and public… I love sharing knowledge, traveling, learning something new! — — What brands do you prefer? — — Favorite brands: Giorgio Piotto, Bamax, Baker, Kelly Hoppen, Nina Campbell, Osborne & Little, Banci, Morelato. Maison Claire, Eichholtz, Ralph Lauren, Kravet, Missoni, Etro, Mulberry… — — What is the geography of your services? — — London, Mallorca, Madeira, Zurich, Basel, Tivat, Yekaterinburg, Voronezh, Moscow. — — Please recall an unusual case from your practice. — — Each designer is a psychologist of sorts, because he approaches the customer very closely, delving into their lifestyle and, accordingly, into their family problems. Once, while working on a project, the customer complained that her husband, the owner of the house, was about to leave the family... And I set myself the task of making such a cozy house that it would be simply impossible to leave it! We designed a separate personal space for him — a wonderful business office, made a very romantic bedroom, which you had to climb up an amazing airy staircase decorated with a forged floral pattern. And, most importantly, we chose a cozy U-shaped sofa for the living room, which forced the customer to see his whole family, children, during his evening rest - their glances inevitably intersected. And this sofa was so comfortable that no abrupt movements according to the principle of "get up and leave" became simply impossible. And - hurray! - the family did not fall apart, the house held it. - Tell us about your favorite place in your apartment. - My favorite place in the apartment is where I do jewelry work, my personal workshop. This usually happens in the evening or late at night. This is a special time for summing up the past day, for making plans, a time when I can be alone with myself. - Elena, what is the most difficult task you have ever faced? - — Probably one of the most difficult tasks, again related to the characteristics of the clients’ family, was this: in the walk-through room, which was used as a living room, it was necessary to allocate a secluded children’s area. The family composition was complex: the client’s husband was not her daughter’s biological father. And the teenage girl, not having her own room, felt constant heavy control from her stepfather. After talking with her, it became clear that it was necessary to somehow separate her space from the common area as much as possible. I designed a convenient table for study and creativity, with a front panel that would close the work area. In addition, a chest of drawers-divider was placed perpendicular to the wall, and a roller blind could be lowered from the ceiling if necessary, separating the private part of the room.
Unusual projects
Clothing design
I have been a regular participant for 13 years now.Fashion weeks in Moscow. And this is a completely different, ladies' life. For me, it is a great joy that with the help of clothes and accessories I can change something in people's appearance and convince them that they are beautiful!
School of decorators
This is an opportunity not only to share your knowledge and experience, but also to find comrades among the best students.
Designer glass
I went glass blowing several timespilot plant in Gus-Khrustalny. I never studied this specifically, but it turned out that my inner courage was enough! And it was love at first sight! Making glass for me, in a certain sense, is a conversation with God. It is impossible to predict the result in advance. Half of the work is done by you, and half by an invisible comrade. And often it is the accidents that become masterpieces. Later I went to study in Germany, although in a different technique, and now I dream of continuing this experience in the Czech Republic.
Jam Painting
Another passion is painting.Especially if the work on the painting takes place to the melody of jazz, in collaboration with my friend, the artist Arthur Yan. Usually we do this in the studio "in the company" of Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, John Lee Hooker and others! But sometimes we also organize public performances. In this case, the action takes place with the participation of some wonderful jazz ensemble, in front of a large number of spectators. Arthur and I paint the work absolutely silently, without saying a word to each other, this is how the right energy is achieved in the interaction of two creators. In front of us is only a canvas, paints and music!
