Interior in gray tones of a two-level apartment

Interiors in gray tones are popular todaynever. And interiors in the French style in gray tones are simply doomed to success. Today we will tell you about just such an apartment, moreover, it was created by the most fashionable decorator in Moscow - Anna Muravina. This apartment was created for a young, active married couple. When work on the project was still in progress, a child was born, and changes had to be made to the layout, as they say, as we went along. As for the style solution, we settled on a modern classic. It turned out that it is quite suitable for city life, stylish and cozy. Anna Muravina, decorator, interior designer Has been engaged in the design of private and public interiors since 1998. Since 2000, she has been teaching: gives lectures, conducts master classes and trainings. Executive Director of the Association of Interior Decorators of Russia. Author of the book "Recipes for a Happy Interior". This year, she implemented the ANNA MURAVINA HOME project, within the framework of which she presented an original collection of furniture, wallpaper, fabrics and carpets. annamuravina.com The apartment is located in a new building and occupies two levels. On the first floor there is an entrance hall, a living room, a kitchen-dining room, and with the arrival of the baby, a children's room was added to them. The second floor is an attic, with a characteristic angular architecture of the premises. Here they placed the master area with a bedroom, bathroom and dressing room. From the spacious hallway you can enterliving room or kitchen-dining room, which is perfectly visible right from the entrance. In the corner there is a console table of dark wood with an Art Deco lamp. Above it is a figured mirror, and next to it for convenience there is a nice golden pouf, similar in shape to those found in Arabic interiors. The floor is laid out with light parquet made of solid wood. By the way, it continues in all the rooms of the first floor. The interior of the apartment is designed in noble styletruffle-gray shades. It is built on color nuances, without bright accents. Even such details as the richly patterned ceramic tile backsplash in the kitchen, the bold leopard print on the couch in the living room or the purple carpet in the bedroom do not stand out from the overall interior canvas. The author of the project's task was toto bring to life the main wish of the customers - to have a large, multifunctional living room. Here, not only the TV area is decorated, but also a work area, a library and even a music room. In addition, several soft zones are allocated, for example, by the wall, with a folding silver-matte screen. The final chord is the choice of decorative items and lamps: a voluminous chandelier in a molded rosette with mushroom-shaped lampshades is originally combined with a tall tripod floor lamp at the entrance, a brass lamp in a retro style on the desk and large lamps with a beautiful body made of blown glass. To the second floor, where the privatezone, leads a wooden staircase with thin, elegant railings. One of the walls is completely lined with mirrors and decorated with a pair of original sconces, stylized as Art Deco. Nearby there is a bench-banquette with a soft seat and convenient storage spaces. To make the composition look harmonious, the steps of the staircase are made of the same wood as the parquet on the floor, and thanks to the large windows there is always a lot of daylight. In the master bedroom, the main color schemeThe interior was given a touch of purple, which did not at all disturb the overall welcoming atmosphere. For example, the aged carpet on the floor is a great match for the natural stone color of the lamp stands on the bedside tables. The bed chosen was Italian, with a high headboard in the capitonné technique. To make the most of the usable space, the sloping walls of the room were mostly converted into storage areas. The master bathroom is decorated in soft tonespearl-mother-of-pearl tones. The washbasin area with a marble top and the cabinet were custom-made according to the author's sketches. The real decoration of the room is the luxurious mirrored dressing table with a chair. The most cheerful room turned out to bechildren's. Light and spacious, it is complemented by bright details and funny little things, and the wallpaper on the walls looks as if someone with a child's hand drew a fairy-tale town with cobblestone streets, gardens, houses and castles on them with a simple pencil. And although the project is completed, the apartment seems to continue to live its own life, changing and transforming along with its residents. For example, the children's area was recently remodeled and expanded, since the baby is growing and needs more space.
