An entire culinary show unfolded in the kitchen, equipped exclusively with Miele appliances. All these new products are just small steps towards a truly amazing idea of the company. Kitchen concepts of tomorrow. In the Tortona Zone, the area where it is locatedthe vast majority of designer showrooms and salons — a show was taking place, also prepared by Miele, which seemed to transport the audience into the future. The room featured an installation in the form of a ring with a diameter of 8 meters on columns, in the center of which there was room for several sofas. The walls were transparent, and inside them, illuminated by dynamically moving LEDs, shelves with dishes and food were formed, grouped in strict order. This entire structure weighed several tons. The guests wondered what kind of show it would be.Will the shelves start moving, or will there be some kind of action in the center of the room? Or is the installation itself the show? After a welcoming speech by Miele Marketing Managing Director Axel Kniehl, the company management invited those gathered to look up. The “invisible kitchen” was on the top tier, where the attention of the audience was immediately drawn to the chef and his charming assistant. They started the cooking process with the help ofvirtual assistant. On a transparent panel, the cooks selected a dish from the menu, and the program immediately highlighted the areas on the tabletop where the required ingredients should be placed. After waiting for them to be placed in strictly defined zones, the program immediately displayed their weight next to them. And then the step-by-step cooking process began, and the cooks moved around the circle so that each spectator could see the action. It turned out to be a full dinner of three courses, each of which was served to the guests during breaks between acts. The concept suggests a futuristic approach tocooking. Controlled via the Internet, with the ability to cook a wide variety of dishes. The assistant is designed to give advice and, if necessary, monitors each stage. A fully interactive kitchen can inspire masterpieces and experiments, putting human needs first. The computer, knowing the amount of food in the refrigerator, will tell you if something is running out, or offer hundreds of other recipes. Frying, cooking, and eating are all possible on the touch panel. And the built-in music and lighting controls will set the right mood.Installation of Invisible Kitchen in a fewmore than 23,000 people visited the event in a few days, and the response received in social networks and the media space was extremely high. For example, the event page on Facebook attracted more than a million visitors. The technology was thought out by a research group and designed in the Miele design center. According to the creators, something from what was demonstrated could well hit the market in the next two to three years.
