As part of the long-standing cooperation between Dornbracht andThe Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts launched the yacht M/Y Asya, in the interior of which products of this brand are present. It can often be found in the rooms of five-star hotels around the world, so the prestigious sea vessel was no exception.
The M/Y Asya continues the line of yachts,designed by Heesen Yachts in collaboration with London-based design studio Bannenberg & Rowell Design and Dornbracht. The yacht’s exterior was designed by Frank Laupmann (Omega Architects), who was inspired by the combination of elegant classics and innovative modern solutions. The vessel’s interior is designed in the spirit of the aesthetics of Dieter Rams, Frank Lloyd Wright and Tadao Ando – this is the merit of Bannenberg & Rowell Design.
The design of bathrooms is based on a combinationstriped marble, painted surfaces, oak and ebony, while neutral and natural tones became the dominant colors of the interior. Dornbracht sanitary ware is installed in the showers, which were also decorated with limestone. The brand's products can also be seen on board the yachts Lady Petra, My Sky and My Secret.
