Today you will find the second part of the report withinternational Cologne furniture exhibition. Bright colors, fashionable shapes, new trends, as well as interesting and rarely found brands in our country - you will learn about all this from our article The impressions of the second day of visiting the exhibition were mixed. Decent business-class brands were mixed with designer brands, and stands in monochromatic colors alternated with bright expositions. And if at first the Cologne exhibition seemed too watered down in style and color, now we have seen all its diversity. For those who know the Italian factory Natuzzi, it will certainly be clear why we went to their stand. Because of their famous recliners, on which even in 15 minutes you can have a great rest, relax and gain strength. Recliners are chairs with a folding back and a small footrest. The peculiarity of the mechanism is that it does not automatically tilt the back to a certain angle, but tilts under the pressure of the back exactly as much as your back needs at the moment.
We tried three recliners and found that the largest one is the most comfortable. We also really liked the bed with the leather-covered base.
The Vita Copenhagen company designed its stand in a very unusual way: the lamps were displayed against a background of photo wallpaper with birch trees and also in a small, cute trailer.
It turned out that the stand belonged to a Dutch companyLeolux, which we talked about in the previous report, is not the brightest at the exhibition. The stand of the German brand Bretz is several times brighter. Here, groups of upholstered furniture were collected by color: emerald green with turquoise, orange-red, lemon-yellow and ochre. There was probably not a single person who would pass by this stand. It was the most popular stand for selfies. According to the editors, such cheerful furniture should be placed in a teenager's room and in lounge areas. A good mood is guaranteed.
Another bright stand of the exhibition is the exposition of the Italian manufacturer Twils. The furniture is comfortable and cozy.
Uvays Heydarov, "Kitchen Interiors":"This year, the colors of upholstery of upholstered furniture have become much brighter. There are combinations that are unusual for Europe. Some of them are more like tropical ones, such as green, blue-green, light green shades; and some have a distinctly oriental flavor: turquoise and emerald; turmeric and saffron; garnet and curry. I myself am closer to conservative colors, I have always leaned toward classic colors: dark blue, dark gray, coffee shades, colors of natural wood; bright tones, in my opinion, could look boring. But this year the exhibition surprised me: the bright colors in the expositions were selected in such a way as not to irritate, but on the contrary, to harmonize. By the way, Leicht kitchens, which are presented in our showroom, have been offering bright colors for a couple of years now: deep blue, persimmon color and mustard color. Of course, the percentage of furniture purchases in bright colors is small, but at the same time it should be noted that it is growing year after year, that is, people begin to love color, feel the need for it, and therefore begin to trust themselves and treat the interior as something personal, expressing their worldview. Look at this leather furniture. It is produced by the Machalke factory. Does it look delicious? It seems to us that the smell of leather and its warmth is conveyed even through photographs.

Baxter is a brand that everyone who has ever seen their leather sofas goes crazy about. The success of the brand is in the impeccable mix of classics, modern style, comfort of models and trendy details. Surprisingly, Baxter sofas, despite their expensive level, are often bought as a spontaneous decision: came, saw, wanted, bought. While most of the furniture of such a high level is bought by people after long deliberation and comparisons.
One of the most amazing exhibitsThe DS-373 armchair from the famous Swiss leather furniture manufacturer De Sede became the highlight of the exhibition. The creator of this armchair, designer Alfredo Häberli, bought a leather-covered elephant figurine at a flea market a couple of years ago. It turned out that the elephant was covered with one solid piece of leather. And designer Alfredo Häberli was inspired to make an armchair that would also be covered with one solid piece of leather. Technologists from the De Sede factory supported him. It was incredibly difficult to implement, especially considering that the leather chosen was not simple, but very thick, 8 mm thick.
Two of Italy's most famous designer brands areDriade and Valcucine exhibited together this time. The result was stunning! Driade presented their new collection - Portable Atelier, created for them by designer Philippe Nigro in collaboration with Moleskine.
Valcucine showed two new kitchens: Genius Loci and Forma Mentis, created by designer Gabriele Centazzo. The idea of Genius Loci is a kitchen as a secretary, in which everything is very compact and clearly arranged.
At the stand of the legendary Swiss companyVitra editors liked the "White Collection" created by Roman and Ivan Bouroullec and Jasper Morrison the most. The items from this collection can be used both indoors and outdoors. They will look great in the garden or on the terrace.
One of the most stylish stands at the exhibitionThe editors would call the stand of the Italian factory Fridgerio. Here the eyes had a rest: the colors of emerald, beryl and topaz in the wall decoration were combined exceptionally harmoniously with furniture made of natural wood and with beautiful metal accessories of various shades: from copper to brass.
There is fashionable design, there is classic design, there is design for every day. The design of items produced by the Italian factory Galotti&Radice can be called elegant, sophisticated and timeless.
