Alcantara, the manufacturerof the same name of high quality material, appeared before the audience Teatro Regio Torino in the famous opera Giacomo Puccini "La Bohème" For the first time "La bohème" was placed in the Teatro Regio Torino 120 years ago, and now this work of the highest cultural value returns to the stage of the theater. In honor of this jubilee on October 12, a new version of La Boheme was shown in the production of La Fura dels Baus, a theater company known for its innovative and revolutionary approach to theater productions. Alcantara took part in the organization: the material of the company was used to create scenery, costumes and curtains, thereby demonstrating the perfection of Italian quality. La Boheme will be represented in the context ofmodernity - the viewer will see the megalopolis of the XXI century, which is in decline and ruin. In the opera, the young generation of bohemia emphasizes the cultural diversity that emerged in the context of intercontinental migration. A huge curtain measuring 19 × 10 meters was designed under the guidance of the stage designer Alphonse Flores. As a print on the Alcantara® material, an image with a stage from the production is applied, which allows the viewer to join the world of the "rebel" version of La Boheme from the very beginning. Also on the stage will be presented structures withmetal frames, upholstered perforated light blue Alcantara®. In the second act, the action will take place in the cafe "Momus", on the stage there will appear tables, upholstered with a special limited series Alcantara® Medusa. This exclusive light blue material, made with the use of laser cutting technology, was also presented in the interior collection of the brand - Acqua. From October 21, "Bohemia" will be available for viewing on the site for the next six months.
