The concept of my apartment was formed based on the desire to build “an old house on the seashore” — a place where I felt warm and cozy. — What principles did you use to choose the colors and materials? - We chose natural materials, again based on the desire to "settle in an old house." There is no plastic or other synthetic materials in such a place, so our apartment has a lot of cotton, wood, and stone. In terms of color preferences, walnut, red, and yellow are absolutely unacceptable for our family. - What are you most proud of in your apartment? - Our pride is the fireplace, which was planned by me and brought to life by my husband's golden hands. All communications and speakers are hidden inside it, and the ventilation system is well thought out.
— What disagreements occurred during the renovation?within your family? — There were no disagreements. My husband did the renovation, and he also made his own, appropriate additions to the design and materials. The proposed style is close to him and he likes it, so his ideas correspond to the chosen direction and are accepted by me unconditionally. Three years have passed since the start of the renovation, and to this day, what has been done delights us both. — What is the budget for your renovation? Where did you buy most of the furniture? — The budget is average. Considering that all the work was done by ourselves, we spent money mainly on materials. At the moment, about 350 thousand rubles have been spent. All furniture was purchased through Internet sites.
— In your apartment you have embodied all yourdreams? If not, what are your plans? — Not all dreams have come true, soon we will have another renovation - we will be changing the kitchen cabinets and surfaces of the work area in the kitchen. In the hallway, the wallpaper needs to be replaced, it is starting to irritate. The plans also include arranging a dressing room, bathroom and toilet. The toilet is dark tones, burnt wood and brick. The bathroom will be light, in an antique style. — Your favorite place in the house? — We love both of our rooms, they are warm and cozy. To celebrate the New Year, we gather with a large family by our fireplace, light it and forget that there is a city outside the window.
