It is quite easy to make a soft chair on its own, it does not need to be a master of furniture. 
The armchair-pear looks beautiful, it is easily transferredand simply manufactured. All you need is a sewing machine, a special filler, a beautiful fabric and, of course, the desire to make an unusual chair with your own hands. In addition, you will significantly save, as buying soft furniture in the store - the pleasure is not cheap.
Soft chair-pear from granulated expanded polystyrene
It will take: 
For the filling of the pear chair, granular expanded polystyrene is needed.
- granular expanded polystyrene - 0,25 cube;
- dense fabric (for the inner cover) - 3.5 m;
- fabric (for a removable cover) - 3.6 m;
- sewing machine;
- 2 zippers in 40 cm;
- graph paper;
- chalk or a piece of soap;
- a plastic bottle and an adhesive tape.
Making a soft chair begins with a sketch: it is necessary to make a drawing in scale 1 to 10 on paper in a box, then transfer the pattern to whatman (dense film) or graph paper. If you find it difficult to come up with a model of a soft chair yourself, then you can use a ready-made pattern. It is necessary to make a pattern on the inner cover, which will be filled with expanded polystyrene chips. To the pattern of the removable cover it is necessary to add 0.5-0.7 cm to the free fit. Pattern is made without allowances for seams. For the inner cover use dense fabric, the best coarse calico, but you can take a linen cloth, art canvas, tarpaulin or sacking. Removable covers are sewn from upholstery, denim, velor fabric, imitation leather. The main thing is that the material is not transparent, otherwise the inner cover will be visible. Approximate fabric consumption - 3,5-3,6 m at a width of 150 cm (all depends on the size of the future chair). 
Pattern of details for a chair-pear. For the hexagonal pear seat, 6 side parts, 1 bottom, 1 upper part must be cut out. Attach a pattern to the fabric, circle it with chalk or a slice of soap, add 1-1.5 cm (seam allowances) on each side, cut out the details. Beat the side parts with the help of pins, stitch all the seams on the sewing machine, except the last one. Lay out and iron the seams, give a finishing line on the front side. The last seam should be stitched only from above and from below (by 50 cm), into the central non-sewn part insert a zipper. Next, the main part with the bottom and the top element is fastened with the help of pins, then they are stretched on the machine, the product is turned to the front side. Similarly, the second cover is sewn. Insert the inner cover into the middle of the detachable one so that you can access the fastener. Take a plastic bottle, cut off the bottom and top, you should have a pipe. Then cut the corner on the bag with the filler, tape the plastic tube with the adhesive tape, insert it into the inner cover. Filling a bag without such a device is not an easy task, since the polystyrene pellets are electrified and stick to all surrounding objects, which makes the process very difficult. Fill the pouch with granules, but not completely, 1/3 of the bag should remain free - then the chair can be given any shape. Close the zipper. The chair is ready by our own hands. Soft chair made of foam rubber
It will take:
- furniture foam with a thickness of 20 cm;
- upholstery fabric;
- lightning - 8 pcs .;
- sewing machine.

Cut 2 strips 80 cm long, 20 cm wide, as well as 2 pieces 80x30 cm. trouble, replace it with a thinner one. Cut out several parts and glue them into one with PVA glue. Cut the covers using the same measurements. The drawing in Figure 1 (side view) will help you understand the chair structure and connect all the elements in the correct order. When sewing covers, do not forget to insert a connecting tape into the side of each (1 tape connects 2 covers), which will hold the whole structure together. The connecting tape must be at least 1 cm wide, it is important that the parts of the chair fold and unfold freely. A connection that is too tight will prevent the pillows from snuggling and bulging. Zippers are sewn towards each other so that the runners meet in the center. First, they sew covers for all pillows, only after that foam rubber is inserted. Based on this example, you can change the design as you wish. For example, add armrests, make several sections and combine them into a simple or corner sofa.
