The footage of typical apartments in multi-storey P-43 buildings is 34-38 square meters, the toilet and bathroom are usually combined. One of the main disadvantages of the layout in these houses is the load-bearing wall that connects the kitchen area and the living area. But they have one undeniable advantage - a large spacious loggia. In order to visually increase the space of such an apartment, you can insulate the balcony and attach it to the kitchen, expand the doorways or dismantle all the walls. Take into account the fact that all changes related to the removal of part of the load-bearing walls, you must agree with a special organization - BTI.
Basic information Multi-storey buildingstype P-43 were built in Moscow in the 70-80s of the last century. You can find these houses in areas such as Fili, Vladykino, Nagatino, Sviblovo, Tsaritsyno. The P-43 series is a continuation of the P-4 construction, but it has high ceilings and a larger area. These panel multi-story buildings have one or two entrances. The house has apartments with one, two and three rooms. All of them are isolated. In 1985, the construction of such buildings ceased, and a new type of unusual houses was put into operation - P-44.
Option #1:An apartment for a couple or a man with many friends Objective To create a spacious room with an open layout, organize a place for receiving a huge number of guests, design a small corner for work. At the same time, it is necessary to equip a cozy bedroom for a calm and serene sleep. Implementation Since it was impossible to completely remove the load-bearing partition, a large doorway with a width of 1.5 meters was created. As a result, specialists connected the kitchen with the guest room. They separated the boudoir with opaque glass panels, which made it possible to create a private area for sleeping and relaxing. If necessary, this room can be divided into two functional areas, for example, a place to sleep and a practical table. The kitchen has a small dining set, which does not visually clutter the area. The diagonal partition of the toilet and window openings with transparent glass from floor to ceiling allow you to optically expand the room and create an open, airy atmosphere. Near the front door there is a modest wardrobe. In addition, a spacious wardrobe is installed in the bedroom. Advantages Excellent and optical expansion of space, free spacious layout; creation of a large guest salon for receiving relatives; huge bathroom; living area that can be easily transformed. Disadvantages There is no window opening in the boudoir, so it cannot be considered a full-fledged room; few storage systems. 
Option #2:An apartment for a girl with a large wardrobe Purpose: To organize spacious wardrobes, create isolated areas for two people to live in, to arrange a cozy living room for receiving friends and relatives, and a large bathroom. Implementation: The apartment is divided into two zones with sliding doors: a bedroom-living room and a kitchen area, which is separated from the hallway by a translucent glass partition, which creates visual volume. The living room has a sectional sofa, which can be easily assembled when friends come over, and also unfolded at night. All clothes, accessories, and items are located in a huge wardrobe. It is separated from the main room by a partition with an unusual winding shape. The decor is also complemented by eclectic cozy armchairs and chairs. The kitchen is perfect for meals, receiving friends, and large companies. The bathroom has a jacuzzi, toilet, sink, and washing machine. Advantages: Isolated areas, large wardrobe, spacious bathroom; magnificent decoration of the kitchen area; and minimal changes to the existing layout. Disadvantages No separate boudoir, no place to accommodate guests.
Option #3:Apartment for a family with a child Objective To transform a one-room apartment into a three-room apartment. To equip a bedroom for parents and a baby, a functional kitchen and a work area; to organize a spacious dressing room. Also, the housing should provide a room for common pastime of all family members. Solution To implement such a complex idea, it is necessary to move the kitchen to the central part of the apartment, and also to install a partition running along the center of the loggia. As a result of these changes, a children's room with an exit to a balcony, which functions as a home office, is equipped. The kitchen, dining room and living room are a single space with a modern interior design. The cooking area is equipped with a furniture set, which smoothly turns into a bar counter, where all family members enjoy a meal. A sofa, coffee table and TV complete the composition. Shelves are installed above the washing machine in the bathroom. In addition, spacious wardrobes with sliding doors are located on the balcony. The spacious bathroom is equipped with all the necessary plumbing and household appliances. Disadvantages Small rooms; labor-intensive and expensive reconstruction, need for approval in the BTI, location of the refrigerator near the entrance doors.
