Yacht, boutique, hotel, plane, manymagnificent living spaces and dozens of other unique projects — this is the track record of two Italian architects for whom there are no impossible tasks Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering are known for taking on the most complex projects from very different fields and always achieving brilliant results. Since 1982, their architectural bureau Lazzarini and Pickering Architetti has been designing country villas, is engaged in the arrangement of restaurants and hotels, industrial and graphic design. The architects also created the visual concept for Fendi boutiques, developed a new concept for the international chain of Montblanc boutiques and even designed the exterior and interior of a number of revolutionary yachts. In their works, they try to embody the ideas of the interior of the future, without separating it from the interior of the present. Today's spaces are small, and functionality is multifaceted - so we believe that the interior of the future should have many ways of transformation and be able to adapt to human needs.

hotel in Sofia One of the iconic projects, owhich Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering are still happy to talk about today, was the design of the Dassault Falcon aircraft cabin in 2012. The architects define “luxury” as an object or space that needs to be made to be much larger than it actually is. This approach was used in the case of the aircraft. One of the challenges we faced was to achieve harmony in the small space we had to work with, and at the same time use many different materials. And to make it work, we decided to work in one single color. The project was a success!
Falcon Dassault
Falcon Dassault Claudio Lazzarini and KarlPickering creates ideal homes for their clients, but they didn’t design their own house, buying a ready-made one in the center of Rome. There is a lot of light and high ceilings and walls, there is space to display a large collection of paintings - the owners are big fans of art. Our house combines many styles at once. There is furniture from our parents, retro furniture from the 60s, our own furniture designs. And the house also cost us most of our savings, so there is a lot of budget furniture from IKEA.

They like the complex geometric forms that are often found here - from Red Square to the works of the architect Melnikov. And both architects say that their main dream is to create their own city. Urban culture and home culture are two different things. We would like to combine them into one whole and, perhaps, would call our creation Nova Palmanova. During the Renaissance, the city of Palmanova was created as an ideal one.
