We love everything Italian and therefore could notpass by such a significant event as the arrival of the famous creative duo PLS in Moscow. But why did they come here — read in our article This spring, the coolest Italian architects, who are engaged in the design of fashion boutiques around the world, flew to Moscow. Lino Losanno and Lorenzo Perini created a new concept for the Meucci boutique, which at the moment can safely be called the only one of its kind (the first boutique in the new interior concept opened in Moscow). The editors of roomble.com managed to meet with the architectural duo and ask them about Moscow in the 90s, private clients and a lingerie store in the most romantic of cities. Lorenzo Perini and Lino Losanno, architects Lorenzo Perini and Lino Losanno, after a long and fruitful collaboration, founded the architectural studio pls design in 2002, which today can rightfully be considered international. plsdesign.it — — The interior of the Meucci boutique, which youdid, is it part of the general concept of the stores that are located all over the world today, or have you come up with something fundamentally new? - No, this is a completely new concept for Meucci boutiques. The project we implemented in Moscow is the first of its kind (the second store will be opened in St. Petersburg). In the future, the concept will be transferred to Meucci stores all over the world. Editor's note:— Meucci is an Italian men's clothing brand with a century-long history. The company is based in Florence and for decades has been creating original models of classic men's suits with a recognizable style and undeniable quality. — — You have many private customersaround the world? - We have many private clients, and all of them are also connected with fashion. First of all, we receive orders for designing boutiques, and then the owners of these boutiques come to us for projects of private villas and apartments. We also often receive orders from visitors to the stores that we have made. - What is the most unusual project you have ever done?did? — It was in Paris. Not long ago we worked on a lingerie boutique project. It was our first experience of this kind and we used all our creative abilities to find as many original ideas as possible. For example, we made a real podium for the fashion show. Have you seen many stores with a podium? The boutique turned out light, romantic, feminine and a little dreamy. We liked it. — — What was the most difficult thing for you inwork? Not in this boutique, but in general. — — The hardest thing is to understand the client, to guess what's in his head, what he wants and what he really needs. And then translate it into the language of beauty. — — How difficult it can be for two people to agree, even friends. And you've been working together for more than one year. How do you manage to be creative, to find a compromise with each other? — — We know each other so well that it's easy for us. Besides, we are very different, and therefore complement each other perfectly. — — What is your favorite room in the house and why? — — I love the kitchen. I love cooking. The kitchen is a great place to gather with friends.
