The award was given to a collection from the famous world brand Furstenberg. The collection called Omnia from the porcelain manufactory Furstenberg was recognized by readers of Elle Decoration magazine as the best in the Accessories category of 2016. When creating it, the designers were inspired by lava flows, the structure of glaciers and rock layers. Such a set will go perfectly with classic white dishes or a trendy gray palette.
Furstenberg is one of the oldestporcelain manufactories in Germany, and the four-piece Omnia collection was released in collaboration with the Viennese design studio Eoos. The set includes a dinner plate, a dessert plate (for serving breakfast or a side dish), as well as a bowl and a cup. This is a universal set of dishes, the decor of which is based on contrast. On the outside, all four pieces have a matte, layered surface. The play of contrasts is enhanced by the two-tone design. In addition to white, Omnia uses anthracite, light and dark brown and bronze. Individual pieces are decorated with 24-karat gold plating (Omnia Ritual line). The two-tone version requires absolute precision in the manufacturing process, since the grooves on the colored surface can only be made using a special technology for painting hard porcelain. The cup and bowl have double walls, due to which they can be held safely in the hands, even when something hot is poured into them. The interior surfaces of all items are incredibly smooth, as they are polished by hand.
