Design of fixtures by their own hands: manufacturing options

1

Lighting plays in the design of interiors veryan important role, because with his help you can easily hide the shortcomings of the layout and give any atmosphere. No less important is the design of lighting devices that are located in the apartment. Simple forms of chandeliers and lamps gradually go to the past, giving way to unusual lampshades and shades. With the help of improvised materials, you can create an original lamp yourself and decorate your home. Lamp of threadPhoto 1. The general style of the room depends on the shape and degree of illumination of the lamp.

Lamp of thread

An openwork, almost weightless ball with a bulb inside looks quite elegant and unconventional, and even a child can do it by themselves. To make such a fixture you will need:

  • balloon;
  • cotton or acrylic thread;
  • adhesive for wallpaper;
  • petrolatum.

In a small container, dilute the glue and giveHe swell, and then put a skein of thread. Threads must not be tightened too tightly, otherwise the glue will not be able to penetrate them evenly. Further inflate the ball, tie it and around the base marker draw a circle, whose diameter should be slightly larger than the diameter of the bulb. The rest of the area of the ball is slightly smeared with petroleum jelly - this will allow free drawing of the ball after the threads have dried. Picture 2. The luminaire made of plastic is easy to manufacture by itself from disposable plastic bottles and spoons. The basic process requires maximum accuracy: the thread is taken by the edge and begins to wrap the ball, removing excess glue with fingers. The more the thread is wound, the more attractive is the design of the luminaire. To facilitate the work process, the ball is recommended to hang vertically. The thread color, as well as the number of turns each selects at their discretion. The volume of the lamp shade can also be adjusted by choosing differently sized balls. When the frame of filaments dries, the ball is removed, a light bulb is inserted in place of it and a lamp is connected (photo 1). The same technology can produce a chandelier made of wire: instead of a balloon, take a metal bucket, replace the threads with a soft wire and make a lamp shade. The wire can be wound in a spiral or in a chaotic order, it is possible to supplement the structure with small metal parts. Of course, this design of the luminaire looks somewhat rude, but if you complement the interior with similar accessories, it will be very stylish and unusual. Back to contents</a>

Lamp from plastic

Plastic bottles and disposable tableware are an excellent material for creating all kinds of crafts, including lampshades. It will take quite a bit of work:

  • Powersave lamp;
  • a three-liter plastic bottle;
  • packing of disposable spoons;
  • glue gun;
  • sharp knife.

First, the bottom of the bottle and the handles at the spoons are cut with a knifeto the very bottom. Along the perimeter of the bottle, from the bottom edge, use a gun to stick the spoons with the convex side outward. Spoons should be placed in even rows in a staggered order, so that each successive row overlaps the gaps in the previous one. A photo 3. The luminaire made of glasses can be made from disposable cups, staples and energy-saving light bulbs. Completely pasting the surface of the bottle, proceed to collect: gently threaded into the neck of the wire and connect it to the lamp (photo 2). This lamp design is perfect for a romantic setting; lighting is very soft, muffled, gives a feeling of coziness and sincerity. If such a lampshade seems too simple, you can paste it with rhinestones and paint. From plastic glasses, too, are obtained original and very beautiful chandeliers. In the manufacturing process, you will need:

  • disposable cups;
  • clothespins;
  • stapler or glue gun;
  • Powersave lamp.

If the glasses take a multi-colored, designlamp will look even more interesting. So, at first the glasses are laid out in a circle and are joined together with clothespins to determine the diameter of the lampshade, then fix it with a stapler. Now you can fasten the elements from the top and bottom, turning the circle into a three-dimensional ball (photo 3), or making 3 more of the same circle and stacking them one on the other - you will get a cylinder-shaped lamp. To assemble the structure, it is necessary to twist the ring from the wire, fix it inside the frame from the glasses and pass the wire with the bulb. This method of manufacturing a lamp shade has different options. If you use transparent multi-colored glasses, the lamp turns out much brighter and more elegant. Instead of a lamp, New Year's garlands are often inserted, paint balls in different colors, cut the edges of the glasses in the form of a fringe, and so on. The simpler the design of fixtures, the easier it is to diversify. Back to contents</a>

Luminaire made of plywood

Photo 4. Scheme of a lamp from plywood. Another unusual option for decorating a lamp or chandelier. Here you will need:

  • a piece of thick plywood 20x30 cm;
  • electric jigsaw;
  • sandpaper;
  • paint;
  • drill;
  • a light bulb;
  • fastening cables;
  • a cartridge and a cord.

The plywood must be dense, of regular shape, withsmooth edges. First, you need to cut a picture of the chandelier in the plywood. To facilitate this process, you can use the stencil. After cutting out the silhouette, the material is treated with sandpaper and painted. Then, at the top of the workpiece, a hole is drilled for the electric cord, a light bulb is attached and the product is suspended from the ceiling cables (photo 4). The unusual design of the lamp will certainly cause admiration of the guests and will give the home of exclusivity. In addition to the methods described above, any kind of things can be used to make homemade lighting devices, from old unwanted hangers to paper napkins. The fantasy and creative approach of modern designers allow creating unique masterpieces even from garbage, so do not be afraid to experiment - everything is in your hands! </ ul>
